CURRENT CKS PARENTS:<br />

We are in <strong>the</strong> Parent Phase of our Annual Giving<br />

Campaign, and are asking current parents to rise to<br />

<strong>the</strong> challenge! An anonymous donor has come forward<br />

to match up to $40,000 in gifts dollar-for-dollar.<br />

The only criteria is that we have 100% MONETARY<br />

participation from our current CKS parents!<br />

CKS Has Ano<strong>the</strong>r Great Round in <strong>the</strong> City Spelling Bee<br />

“Gesundheit, renaissance,<br />

etymology.” If you were visiting<br />

Trevecca Nazarene University on<br />

February 10, you may have heard<br />

youngsters master <strong>the</strong> spelling of<br />

<strong>the</strong>se and several hundred more<br />

challenging words.<br />

On that Wednesday, 6th grader,<br />

Mat<strong>the</strong>w Canonico, and 7th<br />

grader, Michael Canonico,<br />

represented <strong>Christ</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>King</strong> in<br />

<strong>the</strong> Davidson County Spelling<br />

Bee. Congratulations to both of<br />

<strong>the</strong>se students for finishing in <strong>the</strong><br />

top 20 out of 80 “orthographers.”<br />

1, <strong>2010</strong>. Rachael weighed in at 7 lb.<br />

3 oz. Baby, Dr. Gebhardt and family<br />
