CURRENT CKS PARENTS:
We are in the Parent Phase of our Annual Giving
Campaign, and are asking current parents to rise to
the challenge! An anonymous donor has come forward
to match up to $40,000 in gifts dollar-for-dollar.
The only criteria is that we have 100% MONETARY
participation from our current CKS parents!
Please give a little, or a lot, to meet this challenge,
so CKS will get a BIG return!

CKS Has Another Great Round in the City Spelling Bee
“Gesundheit, renaissance,
etymology.” If you were visiting
Trevecca Nazarene University on
February 10, you may have heard
youngsters master the spelling of
these and several hundred more
challenging words.
On that Wednesday, 6th grader,
Matthew Canonico, and 7th
grader, Michael Canonico,
represented Christ the King in
the Davidson County Spelling
Bee. Congratulations to both of
these students for finishing in the
top 20 out of 80 “orthographers.”

Rachael!
Carl, Christine and Jacob Gebhardt
welcomed Rachael Caron Gebhardt
into the world on Monday, February
1, 2010. Rachael weighed in at 7 lb.
3 oz. Baby, Dr. Gebhardt and family
are doing well and appreciate all of
