The hip capping is identical to the ridge capping. At the eaves
the hip should be closed with a Ridge/Hip end Cap. The tiles
can be bent up approx. 20 mm at the sides of the hip batten
as an alternative to the Isola Ridge Ventilation Band.
The Round Ridges should be cut to fit where the ridge and
hip meet and covered with a Powertekk Y-Ridge 10°-30° or
30°-50°, or the joint should be covered with Isoflex P, which is
the selfadhesive, flexible, granule covered Alu-band for joints.
As an alternative the joint can be covered by lead sheet. The
lead can be matched with the colour of the roof using the
Reapir Kit. The surface to be coated must be free from dust,
grease or oils.
