New York Wedding Videographer
My Cinematic Wedding Studio was established in 2006 by Martin Bentsen, a filmmaker who
graduated from NYU with a BFA in film and television production. We're a small group of
Manhattan-based filmmakers who shoot and edit numerous weddings, short and feature-length
films, and other projects each year. Each cinematographer has been trained to shoot in our
unobtrusive, cinematic style that creatively tells your story in a beautiful, artistic way.
Martin Bentsen has shot hundreds of weddings since 2006
and graduated from NYU with a degree in film. He is
currently in post-production on his second feature-length
film called "Dakota" and in pre-production on his third.
When not doing wedding videos and directing films, he
works as a headshot photographer downtown at his Beekman
Street photography studio called City Headshots
(www.cityheadshots.com). Some of his photography work
has been featured in magazines and his films have played in film festivals around the country. He
has authored a book called "Wedding Videography Through the Eyes of a Filmmaker," which is
almost finalized. You may be interested in checking it out if you're into video production.
Samantha Rayward hasn't put a camera down since she
began her career in 2006. Her passion for capturing
subjects in photos soon turned into a passion for short
and feature filmmaking, leading to her degree in film and
rhetoric. Understanding the technical details of both
cinematography and still imagery, along with
having closely studied interpersonal communication,
Sam has a unique skill-set that allows her to clearly
communicate technical media terms with clients so they
understand what goes into the process and how to best
get what they envision. This ensures that every wedding video is unique to each couple. Besides
working with My Cinematic Wedding, Samantha is currently in pre-production on several short
films which will be shot next year.
Every wedding is different, and therefore, my pricing depends on the details of your wedding.
Each package includes at least two shooters (myself and second shooter) in addition to all the
raw footage given to you for archiving.
Wedding Videography: From $1,499
Edited cinematic wedding videos start at $1,499 and cover up to a six hour day with an edited
montage. For longer shooting times or a full-length edit (typically lasting about an hour) the rate
will be higher. The rate will also be adjusted based on the number of guests and how far away
the venue is from Manhattan.
A Raw Footage package for $1,399 covers just the raw footage for up to a six-hour day with two
Take a look at some examples of recent weddings I've shot. I always work with a second shooter,
and sometimes two or more depending on the number of guests and the scope of the
wedding. The videos below are montages, examples of what you'll get in addition to a full-length
wedding video if your package includes it. Note that songs in the videos are always selected by

My husband and I got married and had
the pleasure of having Martin do a video
of our wedding. They did a fantastic job
and really captured the intimacy of the
event as well as all the jokes, speeches
and little nuances that made it a great
night. It's not like a standard wedding
video as Martin really used his director
skills to make it look interesting and play
with colors and moods. He was very cooperative in the editing process as well and delivered us
beautiful DVD's that we were not only able to have for ourselves but also made wonderful gifts
for the bridal party. We had some very high profile guests and Martin made sure that he was
very discreet as well as never being in the way of the ceremony or the other photographers.
Thank you so much, Martin, for capturing our special day so beautifully.

We saw the video last night and I have to say THANK YOU!! I almost teared and it totally
brought back all of the wonderful memories from that evening. Words cannot express how
grateful I am and how appreciative I am. I just want to make sure you know how happy we are!
- Thanks, Patty
