B) BARE CONDUCTORS FOR
OVERHEAD LINES
General Cable commercializes the
complete range of Bare Conductors
under the ECN brand. ECN with its
continuous casting furnaces is one
of the European largest manufacturers
of medium, high, and extra
high voltage bare conductors and
OPGW (fiber optic cables).
The company has been firmly committed
to exporting since it began
its operations in 1959, sells in over
140 countries, and currently leads
the European market for overhead
line conductors and ground wires.
WORLDWIDE RECOGNITION
ECN has both national and international
certifications from
organizations such as RTE, REE,
ENEL, LAPEM, STATNETT, LCIE,
REN, ENDESA, IBERDROLA, among
