Applicators are constantly looking for solutions that meet the
quality criteria of aesthetic concretes. CHRYSO ® FiniSol Brut is
an essential supplement to the CHRYSO ® Deco range, since it
offers a perfect finish for exposed aggregate concretes and
ensures long-term protection.
CHRYSO ® FiniSol Brut is designed specially for exposed
aggregate concrete works, and has a broad range of
properties:
• Protection of the concrete mineral surface finish;
• application onto exposed aggregate concretes, immediately
after washing (fresh and wet);
• proven protective qualities (stain-proof, abrasion, ageing,
surface hardness).
Specially formulated in aqueous phase, it protects users and
meets the new environmental building quality standards that
require increasingly environmentally friendly products to be
used.
■ A perfect finish for exposed aggregate concrete floors
The mineral appearance of the concrete is preserved
Using CHRYSO ® FiniSol Brut does not alter the appearance of
the surface of the concrete. Unlike wet-look protective products,
it gives the concrete a perfectly natural aspect, without altering
the cement matrix: it is not darkened and the aggregates do not
shine.

An anti-efflorescence function
CHRYSO ® FiniSol Brut is a two-function product that also
reduces efflorescence. It prevents the formation of crystalline
deposits of water-soluble salts which often appear on the
surface of the concrete in wet environment or in poor weather
conditions.

Organising your sites properly is a top priority
CHRYSO ® FiniSol Brut has been specially formulated by our R&D
department to be applied immediately after the top-surface retarder
is washed off. This time-saving solution allows your works to be
gradually treated as they progress.

■ Proven protective properties
CHRYSO ® FiniSol Brut is designed to protect your exposed
aggregate concretes for a long time:
• Protection against aqueous and greasy stains:
The CHRYSO lab has tested different types of stains:
- aqueous: raspberry purée, bleach, ketchup, coffee, red wine, coke
soda and grass;
- greasy: olive oil, eco oil and rapeseed oil.
The results demonstrated how protection against stains was
improved in comparison with an untreated sample.
• Good resistance to abrasion and scratching:
The abrasion test used to measure the ability of coatings to withstand
wear caused by repeated cleaning operations (as per ISO 11-998 and
ASTM D24-56), revealed a higher resistance to abrasion than other
products on the market.
• Durability: after 1,000 h of accelerated ageing (tested as per NF
EN ISO 11-507: exposure to UV rays by fluorescent lamps and
humidity), CHRYSO ® FiniSol Brut does not turn yellow and its
performance remains unchanged (appearance, protection against
stains). Exposed aggregate concretes are durably protected, without
changing aspects.
• Improved surface hardness and excellent water-repelling
properties
The CHRYSO ® FiniSol Brut concrete sealer:
• is applied immediately after the top surface retarder is
washed off,
• protects the mineral aspect of the concrete without altering
the cement matrix,
• protects against aqueous and greasy stains,
• improves surface hardness and resistance to abrasion,
• preserves all properties (surface finish, protection against
stains) after 1,000 h of accelerated ageing,
• protects users and the environment.
CHRYSO ® Deco Mat, for a matt finish of your exposed
aggregate floors and CHRYSO ® Deco Perle, for a glossy finish
of your exposed aggregate floors, are also available in the same
