Safety frame for 200 range

All V and P base models are fitted with

a hinged safety frame, which is very

important for low passageways.

Rear wheel drive version for

206/207 V and F

A rear wheel drive version is also

available for the 3-cylinder V and F.

These vehicles have a highly efficient

four wheel brake. The front wheels

have their own drum brakes.

If height is crucial: low roof

version for 16 cm less height

If height is crucial, a low roof version,

which reduces overall height by

16 cm, is available for all versions.

The machines are also fitted with a

heating and ventilation system like the

normal version. With standard tyres,

the V tractor has a construction height

of 2.20 meters, and the F and P versions

2.26 meters.

of the cab. All pipes and openings

that could transfer sound have been

deliberately isolated. The workplace

for the hydraulics, EPC, transmission

and PTO‘s, are laid out logically and

compactly in one unit on the right side.

The B-pillar has been moved towards

the rear and the exceptionally large

opening angle of the door makes getting

Ideal working climate

The newly developed heating and

ventilation system* with integrated

air conditioning generates a pleasant

working environment. The front and

rear windows are hinged and the heater,

which is entirely independent of the

engine, heats the cab up quickly when

it is cold outside. The air conditioning,

now with 20% more power, provides

pleasant temperatures in the cab when

it is hot outside.

Shock loads and bounce caused by

uneven surfaces on the road or in

the field are minimised reliably. The

suspension reduces shock loads and

vibrations by up to 50%. The automatic

levelling control allows for a

constant, high degree of driving comfort,

even with high payloads.

How the suspension functions

The swing axle, pushed by the swing

arm, detects uneven surfaces and

transmits these findings to hydraulic

cylinders. The displaced oil presses

against the nitrogen reservoirs, where

the shock loads are dampened.

Support in the transverse direction is

provided by a lateral stabiliser. The

integrated automatic levelling control

with position sensor offers constant

suspension comfort independent of

load. The front axle, featuring a

10 degree swing, ensures better adaptation

to the terrain along with excellent

3 and 4-cylinder turbocharged engines that

and ruggedness. The new engine generation

supplies up to 15% more torque. A 3.2 to 4.3 l

displacement together with 3 and 4 cylinders

build the technological basis for this high performance

and make these engines ideally suited

for the new 200 range.

considerably. The 209 model already

has over 95 HP engine output available

at 2100 rpm thanks to the 5 HP extra

power. This allows you to save fuel during

In-line injection pumps provide injection

pressure of up to 1000 bar. A new

cylinder head with a steeper nozzle

position and higher injection pressure

together with turbo charging and

increased capacity provides up to 15%

gearboxes are more efficient than those based

on other available transmission technology. The

results are better fuel economy and faster operating

speeds while additional HP ensures effortless

running in the field or on the road.

The optimised Fendt overdrive transmission with

convenient side gear shifting lever, which is also

available for the narrow V version, unites benefits

in efficiency with the excellent performance

The specialty tractors are fitted with max.

3 PTO speeds, 540/750 and 1000 rpm at the rear

and 1000 rpm at the front. All PTO speeds are

taken off one stub, thus eliminating time-consuming

changes of stub axle or drive shaft. Comfort

controls for the front and rear PTO‘s provide maximum

operating comfort.

A 1000 rpm PTO is available for implements

with a high power requirement

and 540 rpm and 750 rpm (economy

PTO) speeds for the widely-used

540 rpm implements.

The PTO‘s in the Farmer 200 can be

activated electro-hydraulically with

the touch of a button. The buttons

are conveniently located next to the

EPC controls, which allows the driver

to activate the power lift and PTO‘s

together at the headland without having

to change grips.

750 rpm economy PTO

The 750 rpm speed is especially practical

because it allows 540 rpm implements

that don‘t require full engine

power to be driven at 75% of the engine

speed, which reduces fuel consumption

(economy PTO). This technology allows

the engine to run quietly and economically,

especially when mulching or

spraying, because the engine is working

in the partial load range.

The practically maintenance-free fourwheel

braking system ensures superb

It comprises two integrated multi-disc

brakes for the rear wheels and a multidisc

pack for the 4-WD engagement on

the front wheels. The brakes are automatically

sprayed with fresh oil each

time they are operated, which reduces

thermal load to a minimum. The rear

wheel drive version has hydraulic drum

brakes on the front wheels.

Front axle suspension (V, F)

provides more traction

When at the slip limit on a steep slope,

tractors can start bouncing under

certain conditions. This is also known

as “power hopping”. The suspension

can reduce any vibrations that occur

through its automatic levelling feature

and therefore ensures higher transfer

of pulling power since all 4 wheels

remain in contact with the ground.

High-quality disc

differential locks

Through the utilisation of high-quality

100% disc locks at the front and rear

(V and F), the locks can be engaged

and disengaged under full load. When

disengaged, the locks always release

immediately, unlike conventional coupling

discs which do not release when

under tension. The P- tractor is fitted

self-locking differential in the front
