COME ALONG AND SEE THE NEW PATIENT ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM (PAS) IN ACTION Thank you to all 852 members of staff who attended our PAS Launch Events in November and December last year. One thing you told us at these events was that you wanted to see more, so next month we’re offering you the chance to see a more detailed demonstration of just how the system can work, by following a typical patient journey. Friday 01 st March, City Campus: Seminar Room A50, Clinical Sciences Building Thursday 14 th March, QMC Campus: Seminar Room A3, A Floor, Medical School On each day there will be five drop-in sessions as follows: Session 1: 9:00am - 10:00am Session 2: 10:30am - 11:30am Session 3: 12:00pm - 1:00pm Session 4: 1:30pm - 3:00pm Session 5: 3:30pm - 4:30pm There will be a 30 minute demonstration of a patient journey followed by an opportunity for you to ask questions about the new PAS. No need to book – just come along at the most convenient time for you. These demonstrations are particularly for you if your role involves: · Booking new outpatient appointments · Clinic reception · Adding a patient to a Waiting list on PAS or HISS Admitting a patient on PAS or HISS Transferring or discharging a patient on NotIS or Tracking casenotes Please attend one of the sessions and see how the New Medway PAS will impact on your role from Autumn 2013.
