Provenance Salvatore Cresce (1916-2011) As a violinist with the Erie Philharmonic from 1948 to 1961, Mr. Cresce also developed a teaching career that would last for more than fifty years. He was loved and appreciated by thousands of students for his generosity and passion for all of the fine arts. He was a graduate of the Conservatory of Music in Naples, Italy, and the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, where he studied with Oscar Schumsky. Enriqueta Guerrero (1927-2010) Enriqueta Guerrero studied classical and Flamenco guitar in Oviedo, Spain, and later concertized in the United States and South America. She was an artistic associate and personal friend of the famous Venezuelan guitarist Alirio Diaz.
