Lab Manual: The lab manual is available in the Laboratory section of the course website. There are other handouts that are available on the website. Additional background relevant to the experiments can be found in any physical chemistry textbook, Raff, Levine or Atkins. COURSE REQUIREMENTS Prerequisites: Only prerequisite is Chem. 342 or 340 (Grade C or higher is required). If you do not meet the prerequisites, please talk to Professor Donald Wink (Director of Undergraduate Studies). Information relevant to the experiments can be found in your physical chemistry textbook. Attendance to the lectures is mandatory. Absence in two lectures without instructor’s permission will result in a grade F; Absence in one lecture results in the loss of lecture attendance points (20 points). Registration: Concurrently register for a lab and the discussion section.
