5. Finance Duties •

5. Finance Duties • The post holder is required to process transactions periodically for around 10 integrated and complex operational budgets (totalling c £350k plus), including those for overseas recruitment, welfare, social activities, marketing and office running expenses. • Raising requisitions and purchase orders, processing invoices and monitoring all financial transactions, including cash advances, corporate purchasing cards and foreign currency transactions. • The post holder is expected to liaise with the Finance Office and other staff where necessary and attend occasional meetings to represent the office in discussions on financial matters. 6. Recruitment / Admissions Support Duties • The post holder is expected to provide occasional support as and when required to the International Recruitment and Admissions teams, this may be for visit planning, flight booking, working to confirm overseas meetings, or to support the processing of international application forms. OTHER FUNCTIONS • To assist at University events as appropriate • To undertake any other duties, commensurate with the post, as may be required from time to time by a member of the IDeC management team. These variations will not change the general character of the post or the level of responsibility entailed. • This job description is a guide to the work the post holder will be required to undertake.
