Experiment 5 : Performance of needle separator for separating insect damage seed in Cotton seed. Treatments : Crop : Cotton seed Unit operation : Raw seed ↓ Size grader ↓ Specific gravity separator ↓ Needle separator Procedure: The seed lots of cotton will be processed on a normal seed processing plant using needle separator. The samples will be drawn before processing, after size grading, after gravity grading, and after using needle separator.
