Fuel rail The rail is designed to distribute a defined fuel pressure to the high-pressure injectors and to provide an adequate volume for pressure pulsation compensation. It functions as a high-pressure accumulator and acts as a mount for injectors, fuel pressure sender, pressure limiting valve and high/low-pressure connections.
