The LionsXII were<br />
crowned the <strong>2013</strong> Malaysian Super<br />
League (MSL) champions after<br />
beating Felda United 4-0 at Jalan<br />
Besar Stadium on 2 July, Tuesday,<br />
a rise in position from second in<br />
their debut season last year. It was<br />
a historical moment for the team<br />
and all Singaporeans as it became<br />
Singapore’s first Malaysian League<br />
title since 1994.<br />

In celebration of their success,<br />
the Lions XII team had a dinner<br />
celebration at Gayatri at <strong>Orchid</strong><br />
<strong>Country</strong> <strong>Club</strong> on 21 July <strong>2013</strong><br />
with over 120 attendees in total<br />
who turned up to celebrate their<br />
resounding victory!<br />
27 JULY <strong>2013</strong><br />
Swimmers July Birthday Bash<br />
On 27 July <strong>2013</strong>, 15<br />
swimmers from Yale Swimming<br />
Singapore came together to<br />
have a birthday celebration for<br />
the July babies at the squash<br />
court. The July babies received a<br />
birthday gift each and all joined in<br />
the chorus of the birthday song.<br />
Thereafter, the July babies blew<br />
out the candles on the cake to<br />
warm applause of proud parents<br />
and loving family members.<br />
The monthly birthday bash is<br />
held every fourth Saturday of<br />
the month at the Recreation<br />
<strong>Club</strong>house. All OCC members’ kids<br />
are welcome to join the upcoming<br />
birthday bashes on 31 August,<br />
31 <strong>September</strong>, 26 <strong>October</strong>, 30<br />
November and 28 December.
