hivalry’s not dead!

“Gentlemen, please!

You can BOTH come with me to the Dinner at St John’s Gate!”

hivalry’s not dead!

Come to the alternative Valentine’s event:

the annual St John’s Gate Chivalry Dinner

Chivalry has undergone a renaissance.

No need to sustain nasty jousting injuries, or pine from the

battlements for absent knights.

Modern chivalry is about feasting with friends in elegant surroundings

and enjoying good company.

Be entertained by grown-up party games, witty diversions and

a little harmless flirtation.

You are invited to a post-Valentine’s Dinner

on Wednesday, 15th February 2012 at St John’s Gate

to celebrate the delights of modern chivalry.

St John’s Gate

The Chapter Hall

Guests attending the Modern Chivalry Dinner will enter through a

private door to a tower of St John’s Gate for cocktails in the Council Chamber

of the Knights, followed by a three-course dinner with wine in the grand

Chapter Hall.

Dinner will be followed by a celebration of modern chivalry with a how-to

guide for the uninitiated, chivalrous games and entertainments, amusing

surprises and unexpected treats.

This will be a very special evening, and an opportunity for individuals, couples

and groups of friends to discover the pleasures of modern chivalry.
