2012 – 2013 PROFILE
Robbinsville High School is located in Robbinsville Township, New Jersey, ten miles east
of the state capital. Adjacent to the research and development corridor between Rutgers
and Princeton Universities, the community is dynamic, growing, and comprised mainly
of a well educated middle and upper class population. With a high value on education, a
high percentage of Robbinsville parents are corporate leaders, financial executives,
doctors, lawyers, engineers, and other professionals.
SCHOOL
Despite being a young high school having graduated only five classes, Robbinsville High
School has distinguished itself by equipping its students to gain entrance to the nation’s
most prestigious colleges and universities. By following a rigorous academic curriculum
and participating in a wide array of co- and extra- curricular experiences, RHS students
are able to pursue challenging and meaningful experiences designed to equip and
empower them as well-rounded learners.
ACCREDITATION Robbinsville High School is accredited by the New Jersey Department of Education. It is
also accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA).
MISSION
CURRICULUM
The mission of Robbinsville High School is to engage students in an academically
challenging and technologically advanced learning environment that fosters the
development of young adults as responsible, respectful, and innovative contributors to a
global society.
The college preparatory curriculum is designed to challenge students’ academic potential
while addressing the entrance requirements of competitive colleges. The program
contains a full complement of courses including advanced placement courses in most
disciplines. In addition to state and local mandated courses, Robbinsville High School
offers an abundance of interesting and meaningful electives – something for everyone
whether it is the arts, technology, engineering, business, or a particular career path.

-AP courses are offered to students in grades 11 and grades 12.
-Students who are enrolled in an honors course may enroll in a subsequent honors course if they earn a final grade of a B- or better in the current course.
-Students who are enrolled in a college prep course may enroll in a subsequent honors or AP course in that subject area if they earn a final grade of A- or better.
-RHS instituted a policy in September 2008 that students are limited to taking only 3 AP courses each year.
