2012 – <strong>2013</strong> PROFILE<br />
<strong>Robbinsville</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> is located in <strong>Robbinsville</strong> Township, New Jersey, ten miles east<br />
of the state capital. Adjacent to the research and development corridor between Rutgers<br />
and Princeton Universities, the community is dynamic, growing, and comprised mainly<br />
of a well educated middle and upper class population. With a high value on education, a<br />
high percentage of <strong>Robbinsville</strong> parents are corporate leaders, financial executives,<br />
doctors, lawyers, engineers, and other professionals.<br />
SCHOOL<br />
Despite being a young high school having graduated only five classes, <strong>Robbinsville</strong> <strong>High</strong><br />
<strong>School</strong> has distinguished itself by equipping its students to gain entrance to the nation’s<br />
most prestigious colleges and universities. By following a rigorous academic curriculum<br />
and participating in a wide array of co- and extra- curricular experiences, RHS students<br />
are able to pursue challenging and meaningful experiences designed to equip and<br />
empower them as well-rounded learners.<br />
ACCREDITATION <strong>Robbinsville</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> is accredited by the New Jersey Department of Education. It is<br />
also accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA).<br />
MISSION<br />
CURRICULUM<br />
The mission of <strong>Robbinsville</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> is to engage students in an academically<br />
challenging and technologically advanced learning environment that fosters the<br />
development of young adults as responsible, respectful, and innovative contributors to a<br />
global society.<br />
The college preparatory curriculum is designed to challenge students’ academic potential<br />
while addressing the entrance requirements of competitive colleges. The program<br />
contains a full complement of courses including advanced placement courses in most<br />
disciplines. In addition to state and local mandated courses, <strong>Robbinsville</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong><br />
offers an abundance of interesting and meaningful electives – something for everyone<br />
whether it is the arts, technology, engineering, business, or a particular career path.
