NUTRIM School for Nutrition, Toxicology

and Metabolism

NUTRIM is a multidisciplinary research school involving

15 basic sciences and clinical departments of Maastricht

University Medical Centre. The school initiates and

catalyzes translational research into nutritional and

metabolic health risks and benefits focussing on

prevention and management of chronic diseases.

The research is nationally and internationally organized

through partnerships with other academic groups,

government and industry. Simultaneously through its

masters and PhD programme NUTRIM aims to train

scientists with a multidisciplinary profile and outlook.

We look forward to meet you at the annual NUTRIM

symposium, to show recent scientific achievements,

to exchange ideas and last but not least to stimulate

interaction and collaboration. We will present our

recently awarded NWO graduate programme

“Metabolism and chronic disease” as well as the

innovative Maastricht University “Eat well” initiative.
