BACKGROUND
Jackson grew up working the land around the unusual town near which he and his family lived.
He wanted to be a gun-slinging sheriff like his Pa, so he trained nearly every opportunity he had. The
threats to the town weren't regular outlaws, but monsters. Jackson's job, as the oldest boy, was to
protect the family. Their home and town were at the base of a canyon, and easy targets for whatever
found it's way down to them. One night, during a full moon, werewolves found their way to the sheriff's
home and began slaughtering the family. Jackson and his father fought their best, and although the
pack of creatures was defeated, the Ansley home lay in shambles. His father's throat was ripped out,
his mother and siblings torn apart, and the gun-toting orphan struggled to stop the bleeding where his
arm had been bitten off. Jackson has lived a long, hard, lonely life hunting monsters ever since.
HIS SECRET: His only love interest is Victoria Harris, a werewolf he can't bring himself to kill.
