Boise Temple Expansion Project

Please help double
the Boise temple!
From a humble beginning, in 1986 on a coffee
table in the living room with your support, in
1999 we built a brand new temple. Now we
are again growing. The prasadam hall is too
small; the youth need green space to do kirtan
and a library for quiet study. The matajis need
a bigger kitchen and our Deities need a bigger
dressing/ jewelry room and the city wants us
to provide more parking
Miraculously, Sri Sri RadhaBankebihariji, the
Presiding Deities of Boise for the last 26 years,
provided us with the only empty piece of land
in the area and it is right next to the temple!
We have the land and are now ready to build.

We are growing:
From 500 sq. ft. of prasadam room to a
2500 sq. ft. multipurpose hall with a
stage
Festivals can be held inside
Community can use the hall for spiritual,
social and personal events
Hall will seat 200 people
A Vedic library with 500 to 1000 books; a
cultural resource not only for our youth
but for the entire state of Idaho and the
region
A new expanded kitchen, with the latest
equipment
Almost 3500 sq. ft. green park with two
outdoor stages, trees and flower garden

Finally a greenhouse/ mini mandir for
Tulasi devi & Shaligram and a guest
house
Project Costs
The best estimates are that the entire
project will cost around $800,000
The Gupta family (Anantarupa das and Aruddha
dd) will fund half of the construction costs. The
other half, $400,000, needs to be raised by April
2015. With the blessings of Sri Sri Radha
Bankebihariji we all, together, can make it
happen. Please take advantage of this rare
opportunity by coming forward and
participating in this service through your
generous donations. By doing so, you will find
that your lives will become happy and
prosperous and that the darling of all our hearts
(Bankebihariji) will fulfill all desires.

In the Skanda Purana it is said: “Just by
starting the construction of a temple for
Lord Krishna, sins committed in seven
births will be wiped out and one will
deliver his forefathers … By building a
temple for Sri Madhava, one can attain the
eternal spiritual world (Vaikuntha)”
