Ardy started at Roermond CCI in 1974 where he was responsible for statistics,<br />

Michel has been working from 1993 to 2000 at the Grenoble Chamber of Commerce<br />

Nicolette joined the Rotterdam Chamber of Commerce in January 2000, and has<br />

since then been active for the international business department. Currently, she<br />

Charity joined the Chamber in 2004 as their Operations Manager responsible for<br />

business advocacy, trade and investment promotion and public relations.<br />

She initiates trade development services and has worked with the Board and<br />

Management in preparing the Chamber’s new strategic plan; initiating economic<br />

development initiatives. She revamped the Chamber’s Information Resource<br />

Centre and organized it to international trade information centre standards and<br />

implemented the electronic database for easy retrieval of business information.<br />

Karl has a long experience as a European trade negotiator. He started his career<br />

in the Commission as textiles negotiator, has dealt with international fisheries<br />

issues and since 1985 with the GATT. In 1990, he served as foreign policy advisor<br />

to EU President Jacques Delors, with particular focus on the German unification<br />

process. Since the beginning of 2001 he has been appointed Director in charge of<br />

Fabian Zuleeg - Senior Policy Analyst<br />

Fabian is Senior Policy Analyst at the European Policy Centre, an independent,<br />

Brussels-based think-tank. He has recently published papers on the European<br />

budget, EU innovation policy, the impact of demographics on European labour<br />

markets and the implications of the Lisbon Treaty for EU businesses. Prior to joining<br />

the EPC, he worked in the UK as an economic and public policy analyst, first in<br />

the UK civil service and then in a private sector consultancy firm. He has studied<br />

economics and international relations at St Andrews and Glasgow University and<br />
