Run Up and Bound<br />
Method: Concentrate on line of delivery.<br />
Smooth rhythmical approach.<br />
Accelerate gradually. Control speed.<br />
Bound (spring) off left foot. Raise both arms. Turn 90° in<br />
air.<br />
Land in coil position leaning back from batsman.<br />
Repeat bowling action.<br />
Practise bowling with a smooth and economical run-up and<br />
easy rhythmical well balanced delivery, finishing with a<br />
deliberate and fluent follow-through (see Figure 10).<br />
Once players have mastered these steps they should be ready to<br />
progress to more complex skills using swing and spin.<br />
