Sue Dunham Memorial Scholarship Application
The Sue Dunham Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2003 to help school-age students in
need of financial assistance to pursue their love of art by taking classes at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
Sue Dunham, a dedicated teacher and speech pathologist, was a volunteer docent for the Museum,
where she devoted her time to giving tours and encouraging children to use their imaginations. Sue
Dunham’s family wanted to carry on her passion for art and learning through the establishment of the
scholarship fund.

Part 2: Requirements
The following questions must be answered completely in order for the student to be considered for a
scholarship.
Does the student have an interest and a strength in the visual arts Please explain.
Does the student have financial need (i.e., Is your school a Title 1 school Does the student qualify for
the free lunch program) Please explain.
Does the student meet academic and attendance requirements for your school Please explain.
Does the student have the transportation and support needed to attend every class session
Please explain.
The student must include ONE or more of the following in order to be considered for a scholarship.
