English as a Second Language<br />

Canadian citizens, permanent residents, refugees and live-in<br />

care-givers will be exempt from paying tuition. All other fees<br />

are applicable. Proof of status will be required at the time of<br />

registration.<br />

Cooperative Education<br />

Co-op students must take EMP 100 and pay the $263.28 cost<br />

for this 3-credit course. <strong>Student</strong>s are also required to take<br />

TRM197 or BUS 197 or BUS 297 with a charge of $87.76 per<br />

credit.<br />

International Tuition Fees<br />

Academic programs<br />

Any program area that is currently charged by credit (e.g.<br />

Business, Fine Arts, University Studies)<br />

• Three to five courses: $5,885/term<br />

• More than five courses: $1,471.25 per additional course<br />

• Post degree diploma: $14,718.50/program<br />

• Up to three courses: $4,800<br />

• More than three courses: $500 per additional course<br />

Note: <strong>Student</strong>s registered in both Academic and ESL Core<br />

courses will be charged at the rate of the majority of courses<br />

for the program. <strong>Student</strong>s taking an even number of courses in<br />

each program will be charged out at the Academic rate.<br />

in the table. Fees are listed by program and include a tuition<br />

estimate, approximate book costs*, and lab and student union<br />

fees. Please be aware that while tuition and other fees are a<br />

large part of the cost of your education, other expenses such as<br />

school supplies, transportation, administrative costs, and living<br />

expenses need to be taken into account**.<br />

*Fees may also include cost of necessary equipment for some<br />

programs. For more precise book costs please contact the<br />

bookstore or the instructor of each course in your program.<br />
