QUESOS DE LA HUZ

Juan José de la Huz Pinedo founded the company Quesos de la Huz in 1989 and it has been a

member of the Regulatory Council for the Designation of Origin Queso Manchego since its

founding. He is honoured to continue to offer his clients the wide range of products brought

together in the following catalogue. Within you will find the more traditional cheeses as well as

the latest innovations, with explanations of their characteristics.

We aim to satisfy our clients' discerning taste. At Quesos de la Huz every member of our team

is dedicated to achieving quality products that are recognised both nationally and internationally,

as demonstrated by the prizes and recognition we have received over the years.

Manchego Cheese P.O.D.

"DON CAYO"

Type of Milk: Certified Manchega Ewe's Milk.

Treatment: Pasteurized Milk.

Characteristics: Firm and compact yellow paste dotted unevenly with tiny eyes, pleasant aroma

characteristic of good Manchega Ewe's Milk Cheese, stronger depending on the

length of its ripening.

Presentation: As is or Vacuum Packed with Thermoforming.

Colour of the Rind: Natural yellow or with added colour.

Formats: Semi-Mature: 1 Kg., 2 Kg. 3 Kg. and various wedges.

Mature: 2 Kg., 3 Kg. and various wedges.

gentle and pleasant aroma and ivory colour.

Characteristics: Ivory white with larger eyes than the rest of our cheeses

and a very gentle and pleasant aroma.

with a strong aroma and flavour characteristic

of the time preserved in lard and mixed

with Rosemary leaves, which gives the cheese

the flavour of this herb.

Presentation: Wrapped in Plastic Film, Mesh and Label.

Rind: Covered with Chopped Rosemary Leaves.

Formats: 3 Kg.

Type of Milk: Ewe's Milk and Goat's Milk.

Treatment: Raw Milk.

Cheese in Olive Oil

"DE LA HUZ"

Type of Milk: Ewe's Milk (60% min.), Goat's Milk (30% min.)

Treatment: Raw or Pasteurized Milk.

Characteristics: The cheese is a reddish white colour depending on the time in the oil, it changes

when cut like all good raw milk cheese that has been ripened for several months,

strong aroma characteristic of all good cheese in oil.

Presentation: Vacuum Packed (Raw Milk), in a Large Container (Pasteurized Milk)

and Plastic Jars (Pasteurized Milk)

Colour of the Rind: Natural with Oil.

Formats: Vacuum Packed: 3 Kg.
