PORT OF DURRES
The main and biggest Port in Albania and the gateway of
Corridor VIII
It is situated in SW part of the city of Duress and 36 km East
of Tirana.
DPA is a joint stock Company Where 100% of shares
belong to the government.

How Corridor VIII and Durres -
Morine Road will affect Ports
• The area reached by port of Durres and port of
Vlora through Corridor VIII will be expanded
towards Macedonia (FYROM) and Bulgaria, so
linking the Adriatic with the Black Sea
• Durres-Morine Road will make it possible for
Kosova to use of port of Durres and port of
Shengjini.
