<strong>Somerset</strong> <strong>County</strong> Airport<br />

Motion by Joe Betta, seconded by John P. Vatavuk to ratify the advertisement for Bids to Construct New<br />

Unit Hangars and Improvements to the Blue Hangar at the <strong>Somerset</strong> <strong>County</strong> Airport; bids will be opened<br />

April 19, 20<strong>12</strong>.<br />

The vote was unanimous. Motion carried.<br />

Elections<br />

Motion by Joe Betta, seconded by John P. Vatavuk to approve the Software License Agreement with<br />

DOMINION VOTING SYSTEMS, INC. of <strong>12</strong>01 18 th St. Suite 2<strong>10</strong>, Denver, CO 80202, in the amount<br />

of 11,995.00 for the election equipment for the period of June 1, 20<strong>12</strong> to May 31, 2013.<br />

The vote was unanimous. Motion carried.<br />

Parks and Recreation Board<br />

Motion by Joe Betta, seconded by John P. Vatavuk to approve the reappointment of ANTHONY<br />

MARICH of PO Box 7, Markleton, PA 15551; BARRY ATCHISON of 447 Water Street, Rockwood,<br />

PA 15557; and CATHY McCOLLOM of 716 Oden Street, Confluence, PA 15424; to the <strong>Somerset</strong><br />

<strong>County</strong> Parks and Recreation Board for three-year terms expiring on December 31, 2014.<br />

The vote was unanimous. Motion carried.<br />

Motion by Joe Betta, seconded by John P. Vatavuk to approve the reappointment of JAMES HARROLD<br />

of 320 Barron Church Road, Rockwood, PA 15557; and RICHARD STIFFEY of 538 Keystone Street,<br />

Meyersdale, PA 15552 to the <strong>Somerset</strong> <strong>County</strong> Parks and Recreation Board for three-year terms<br />

expiring on December 31, 2013.<br />

The vote was unanimous. Motion carried.<br />

Ordinance – Unconventional Gas Well Impact Fee<br />

Motion by Joe Betta, seconded by John P. Vatavuk to adopt Ordinance No. 1 of 20<strong>12</strong> as follows:<br />

Section 1. The <strong>County</strong> of <strong>Somerset</strong> hereby imposes an unconventional gas well fee on each unconventional gas<br />

well spud in this <strong>County</strong>, as authorized in Title 58.<br />

Section 2. Definitions. The following words and phrases when used in this ordinance shall have the meanings<br />

given to them in this Section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:<br />

"Fee." The unconventional gas well fee imposed under Section 2302 of Title 58.<br />

"Spud." The actual start of drilling of an unconventional gas well.<br />

"Title 58." Title 58 (Oil and Gas) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes as amended by Act of February<br />

13, 20<strong>12</strong> (PL 87, No.13).
