The New Orleans TM II Series
Expanding the New Orleans product family to include LED
lamp technology is only one of the recent improvements
to this impressive fixture line. The New Orleans II now
includes all of the features that are desired by municipal
and roadway lighting designers.
Most importantly, the capital base assembly on the
New Orleans II includes three architectural styles. All
of these styles offer an optional “photocell door” which
houses a twist-lock photocell assembly. The capital can
also be ordered with a Globe Hook (GH) to hang the fixture
globe on during service/installation.
The expanded offering of globes for the New Orleans II
includes acrylic, polycarbonate and prismatic glass
styles. All of these globe styles now include a twist-lock,
cast aluminum ring at the base to make installation and
maintenance exceptionally easy. The Hard Top (HT)
globes are Dark-Sky certified. They are ideal for use in
areas requiring minimal spill light. Internal light shields are
also available for extreme light trespass conditions.
The New Orleans II LED fixture is available with 42 and
84 LED counts which allows for a variety of lumen/
wattage packages. The photometric performance of the
Dark‐Sky friendly HID and Induction lamp versions of the
New Orleans II is second to none.
To top off the New Orleans II, Visionaire Lighting is offering
four standard finial styles.
• Three cast aluminum capital styles – smooth – fluted
and leaf pattern
• Capital door with Internal twist-lock photocell receptacle
• Tool-less, twist lock lens assembly provides easy
access to electrical components
• Aluminum hard top and clear top styles are available –
optional globe hook (GH) for ease of maintenance

wattage packages

Housing
• The New Orleans II LED Series features a cast aluminum capital
available in smooth, fluted or leaf pattern; with an optional internal
twistlock photocell receptacle accessible thru an attached
windowed door. All external hardware is stainless steel.
Lens Assembly
• The acorn globe is available in two styles.
• The Dark-Sky style features a one-piece spun aluminum cap
with a clear acrylic or poly acorn shaped lens in three shapes.
• The Traditional globes are available in textured acrylic or poly.
• Fully gasketed with a form-fitting, premium extruded silicone
gasket for complete weather and insect protection.
Optical System
• The highest-lumen-output Evo/C LEDs are utilized. Estimated
life of the LEDs is 60,000 hours. IES Type I, II, III, IV and V
distributions are standard. The LED VisionBar TM light assemblies
are field replaceable. Available wattages up to 137 watts. The
optical system in the clear lens, hard top style qualifies as IES full
cutoff and is Dark-Sky certified to restrict light trespass, glare and
light pollution for neighborhood‐friendly lighting.
• CRI values are 70 for 4000K and 75 for 5500K.
Quali-Guard ® Finish
• Aluminum fixture components are chemically pre-treated
through a multiple stage washer, and finished with an
electrostatically‐applied, thermoset polyester powder coat
textured paint of a minimum of 3 to 5 millimeters thickness.
Finish is oven-baked at a temperature of 400 ºF to promote
maximum adherence and finish hardness. All finishes are
available in standard and custom colors.

Mounting
• The New Orleans II series is a post-top fixture that mounts over
a 3‐inch tenon, with a wide selection of decorative and custom
mounting arms for both pole and wall mount applications (see
Decorative Arms section of catalog).
Electrical Assembly
• The New Orleans II LED series is supplied with a
high‐performance LED driver that accepts 120 V thru 277 V,
50 hz to 60 hz input. Power factor is 95%. Rated for -40 o C
operation.
• 2 kV surge protector supplied as standard.
• Driver is compatible with dimmer from 0-10 volts.
Solar Panel Option
• The New Orleans II is compatible for use with Visionaire
Lighting’s Solar Panel Pole TM .
Options
• Fixtures available with finials, photocell receptacle, filigree band
with cage, globe hanger and an internal light shield.
Listings
