This tour gives you the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make

City tour of Athens including the new

Morning guided visit of Acropolis, the new museum for Acropolis and sightseeing tour of 

the Greek Parliament building, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Adrian’s Arc, Temple of the 

Olympian Zeus, Zappeion Gardens, the Royal Palace, the Stadium, the Academy etc. 

Cape Sounion (1/2 day) 



Drive along the coastal road, past the wonderful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni 

and Varkiza to the most southern point of Attica, Cape Sounion. There the white 

marble pillars of the Temple of Poseidon together with a magnificent view of the Saronic 

Gulf await you. 

Delphi (1 day) 



Drive across the fertile plain of Boeotia, crossing the towns of Thebes on to Levadia and 

Arachova famous for its colorful rugs and carpets. Arrive at Delphi the center of the Ancient 

world whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic world. 

On the slopes of mount Parnassus lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. 

Visit the treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing 

masterpieces of ancient Greek sculptures such as the bronze Charioteer and the famous 

athlete Aghias. Lunch is served in the modern village of Delphi, the return to 

Athens via the same route. 

Corinth-Mycenae-Epidaurus (1 day) 



Early morning drive towards the Corinth Canal which connects the Aegean with the 

Ionian Seas. Then on to Mycanea, the Homeric city of Atreides - the city "rich in 

gold" of the ancient poets. Visit the Lions Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, the Royal 

Tombs...Depart for Nauplion through the fertile plain of Argolis, the picturesque 

town nestling at the foot of a cliff crowned by the mighty ramparts of the Palamidi 

Fortress. After lunch leave for Epidaurus the biggest open air theater in the world 

famous for its acoustics. Return to Athens in the evening. 

Meteora (2 days /1 night) 

Departures: 08:45 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays – Return: 19:00 

Day 1: Transfer to Delphi. One hour and a half at leisure to stroll in the picturesque 

village, enjoy the breath taking scenery from the slopes of Mount Parnassus till Itea, 

take pictures and enjoy a Greek coffee”. Depart for Kalambaka, passing through villages 

and towns of central Greece. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka. 

Day 2: Visit Meteora and enjoy a unique and most impres sive scenery of ageless

Classical Tour (4 days /3 nights)

Day 1: Leave by the coastal Road to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive on and 

visit the Theatre of Epidaurus, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Proceed to the 

Town of Nauplion (short stop), drive on to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological 

Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnesus 

and the Towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight in Olympia, the cradle 

of the Olympic Games. (Dinner). 

Day 2: In the morning visit the Archaeological Site with the Sanctuary of Olympian 

Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Museum of Olympia. Drive on through the plains 

of Eliad and Achaia, through Patras, Capital of the Peloponnesus until the magnificent 

bridge over the “Little Dardanelles” from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque 

towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea to arrive in Delphi and overnight. (Dinner). 

Day 3: In the morning visit Castalia Spring and the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, the 

Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios and the Museum. Depart for Kalambaka, passing 

through numerous picturesque villages and typical towns of Central Greece. 

Overnight in Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex 

of Meteora and the gigantic rocks. (Dinner). 

Day 4: Visit Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which 

seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite 

examples of Byzantine Art including priceless historical and religious treasures. 

Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae (visit the Leonida’s 

Monument). Arrive in Athens early in the evening. 




Cruise to the Sardonic Islands 


Early morning transfer to the port for embarkation. Cruise to Egina, Poros, Hydra 

with a short stop on each island, giving the chance to visit the ports. Lunch on board.

The travellers will be welcomed by our English speaking professional driver at Piraeus 

port and privately transferred in his A/C Mercedes car to Athens. Driving down 

Herod Atticus street, you will see the Evzones in their picturesque uniform and the 

Presidential Palace. On the way to the Acropolis you will see the ADRIAN's Arch , 

the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic 

Games of Modern Era were held in 1896. On the Acropolis they will MEET with our 

Professional English speaking GUIDE in order to be guided on the architectural masterpieces 

of the Golden Age of Athens : the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, 

the Erechtheion and finally the monument

Stroll down to the old city of Athens, the Plaka through the narrow picturesque

MYCONOS shore excursion 


HALF DAY PRIVATE TOUR 

Panoramic Island Tour and Mykonos Town 

Pick up 11:00-11:30am. Duration of tour up to 4 hours 

Disembark and depart for a panoramic island tour. Drive to Ano Mera with its cosy 

village square. Visit the monastery ‘Panagia Tourliani that houses the patron icon of 

the island as well as some beautiful pieces of art like the marble bell tower from Tinos 

or a wooden iconostas from Florence. Next is Kalafatis beach, famous for its relaxed 

atmosphere - short stop. Depart Kalafatis and drive to Agios Yiannis beach offering 

a nice view of Delos Island - short photo stop. Continue to Mykonos town passing 

by Ornos beach with its beautiful little fishing harbour. 

Leave your coach/car to the Yacht club and start a walking tour through Mykonos 

town. Walk though Matogianni, the main shopping street and then to Paraportiani 

Church, one of the most famous samples of Cycladic Architecture and one of the 

mostly photographed spots on the island. Continue to the picturesque Alefkandra 

area, also called ‘Little Venice’ as the houses are built into the sea. Our last stop is 

at the famous windmills that in the old days were used to grind wheat and from 

where we can enjoy a nice view over Little Venice. Enjoy some free time before you 

meet your coach at the Yacht club and return back to your cruise ship. Optionally, 

you may remain in town on your own for independent sightseeing and shopping.

MYCONOS shore excursion 



Delos Apollo Sanctuary 

Pick up 10:30am. Ends at 15:00. Duration of tour 4.5 hours. 

Depart from the port of Tourlos by bus towards Mykonos town where you will take 

a 10 minutes walk to the quay for the Delos-boat departures. Boat departs at 

11:00am. Enjoy a pleasant boat trip to Delos, now a desolate wind-swept island 

visited only by tourists, the ruins of its famous archaeological site still imbued with 

a sense of mystic fervour and nostalgia. 

The boat heads towards the west side of the island close to the sacred harbour, from 

where the modern breakdown leads directly to the entrance of the archaeological 

site. You will have the chance to walk into the heart of the sanctuary, where you will 

see the remaining of the first temples of Apollo and Artemis, magnificent monuments 

famous for their history and architectural style, the famous sacred lake guarded by 

the unique marble lions of Delos, some of the originals are still housed at the museum. 

After a rest stop, you will head towards the terrace of the foreign gods and 

the theatre area. From here you will delight in a spectacular view of the ancient site 

and the entire archipelago. Continue on to the famous Hellenistic mansions of Delos 

with their floors and walls decorated with superb mosaics. Return journey by boat 

to Mykonos where the tour will end at the old port. You may stay in town or return 

back to the ship for lunch.

SANTORINI shore excursion 



Private Tour of Akrotini & Oia Village 

Duration of tour 4 hours. 

As you tender ashore to the Old port you will be captivated by the hues of deep 

blue in the sea and by the vista of the graphic island of Santorini ahead. Our guide 

will be waiting for you at the entrance of the CABLE CAR in order to go up the 

colourful rocky sides of the caldera, affording a spectacular panorama of the island. 

Drive to the most picturesque traditional village of Oia, passing by many traditional 

villages, the crowning glory of peach and tranquillity. Built on the northern part of 

the caldera rim, it is here where many artists have been inspired due to its magnificent 

location. Walk through the village along cobble stoned streets marvelling at the wonderful 

panoramic views and admiring the traditional architecture. Enjoy some free 

time on your own, browse in tiny shops selling ceramics, paintings and jewellery. 

Following our driver/guide will drive you to the South part of the island where the 

Famous AKROTIRI Archaeological Site finally opens its doors this summer, after several 

years of restoration! it is a place the group should NOT MISS during their visit 

on the island.It is one of the most important prehistoric settlements of the Aegean. 

The first habitation at the site dates from the Late Neolithic times. 

The tour ends at Fira, the picturesque capital of Santorini perched on the volcano's 

caldera. Here you will have the option to either stay in town for further exploration 

or climb Fira’s narrow lanes to the cable car station and descend to the pier where 

the ship’s tenders will take you back to the ship. 

NOTE: Passengers should take into consideration that the village of Oia and the 

town of Fira involves walking through narrow cobble stoned, pathways with numerous 

flat steps. The order of the tour is subject to change according to local conditions 

eg. exact hours of arrival and how crowded the site will be at the time of their visit. 

SANTORINI shore excursion 



Oia Village & Fira Town 

Duration of tour 4.5 hours. 

Your destination is Oia Village, the crowning glory of peace and tranquillity. Built 

on the northern part of the calderas rim, it has been the inspiration of many artists 

due to its magnificent location, and superb views of the calderas, the rest of the island 

itself and the Aegean Sea. Leave the vessel and by local tender, be taken to 

Athenios Harbour where you will board your awaiting motorcoach. Drive uphill along 

the rocky sides of the calderas and pass through an array of traditional villages before 

reaching the unique village of Oia, with its architecture typically Cycladic and its 

houses resembling ''bird nests'' tucked away into the dramatic cliff-side. 

Follow your guide, and along cobble-stoned streets, walk through the village, marvelling 

at the wonderful panoramic views as well as the traditional architecture. Enjoy time in 

Oia on your own, perhaps by wandering through the many art galleries available or just 

relaxing over a cup of coffee. At the specified time and place, meet back up with your 

guide and make your way to Fira, the picturesque capital of Santorini, built on the 

calderas rim. Here, enjoy free time on your own before making your way to the small 

pier of Scala by cable car or mule, where tenders will take you back to the ship.

Duration of tour 4 hours 

Depart for Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. The Olympic Games 

proved to be historical landmarks for the ancient Greek world. The year 776 B.C., 

which was the date of the first Olympiad, was the first certain and accurate chronology 

in Greek history. Visit the archaeological site with the temple of Hera, the temple 

of Zeus, and the archaeological museum. Next to the unique example of the severe 

style of works in the museum of Olympia,the works representing the Classical age 

occupy only a limited space, but they are so important and so representative. 

One of them is the Nike of Paionios and another one is the Hermes of Praxitelis. Free 

time in Katakolon, where the group can be dropped off and find their own way back 

to the ship at their own private pace.

Driving through the new town, passing the picturesque yacht harbor of Mandraki, 

with the lighthouse tower of St. Nicholas and the three old windmills, the Annunciation 

church, the Central Post Office, the Town Hall, Theatre and Government House 

(all Italian buildings) we will drive up the panoramic road to the Monte Smith. Here 

we visit the Acropolis of the ancient town of Rhodes, the Temple of Apollo and the 

Stadium. We continue through the Industrial section of the town and along the ramparts 

of the Old Town of Rhodes. 

Walking in the Medieval Town we pass the Palace of the Grand Master, walk through 

the Street of the Knights, where we find the inns of the seven Nationalities, which

Istanbul: The Gateway to the East 

Istanbul stands on both sides of the Bosphorus, an important 

natural waterway linking the Black Sea to the 

Mediterranean and separating Europe from Asia. There 

are two bridges across the Bosphorus and another is 

planned. This city, known as Byzantium and then Constantinople 

in ancient times, abounds with monumental 

architecture and traffic congestion. But it has two faces 

- European with its tree lined boulevards and chic cafes 

and shops - Eastern in the crowded backstreets and 

bazaars. It has two city centres, both on the European 

side, separated by the inlet known as the Golden Horn 

- the historical Sultanahmet and Taksim CBD. 

Cruise ships berth at the Karakoy Passenger Terminal, 

across the Galata bridge from Sultanahmet, the main 

tourist area and centre for both the Byzantine and Ottoman 

Empires. Here you will find Aya Sofya, once one 

of the greatest cathedrals in the world (now a museum), 

the stunning Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. Most excursions 

include the main sites but will also include a 

visit to the carpet shop and Grand Bazaar. If you do not 

take an excursion, it is not not walking distance to the 

main sites but you can take a bus or taxi into Sultanahmet 

or there is a hop on/off sightseeing bus that leaves 

from the terminal end of the Galata bridge. However 

you travel expect lots of hassle from street vendors and 

be prepared to haggle for any purchases.

After Lunch visit House of Virgin Mary. This house is located on the Aladag Mountains 5 miles from 

Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council of 431 in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus 

with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After the discovery of the 

house, the Archbishop of Izmir declared it a place of pilgrimage in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope 

Paul VI visited this place and prayed here.

Leaving Cappadocia we head south along the ancient Silk Road just as the ancient trades did. Along 

the way we visit Sultanhani Caravansary, before stopping at Konya to tour the Mevlana Museum.

Day 7 Thursday: Pamukkale, Aphrodisias 

Visit the ruins of Hierapolis, the Temple of Apollo, Necropolis, and stroll over the magnificent white

Day 8 Friday : Kusadasi, Ephesus 

Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the Temple of Artemis. 

Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre before continuing to the house of the 

Virgin Mary. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey and at the carpet village we learn how the 

carpets are made by hand what determines their value. Overnight Izmir (B,D) 

Day 9 Saturday: Pergamum, Troy, Canakkale 

This morning we will enjoy a display of locally handcrafted leather goods before driving along the 

Aegean coast to the ancient city of Pergamum. We visit the magnificent Acropolis of Pergamum, its 

impressive temples and library that made Pergamum a renowned cultural and political centre in its 

time. We then continue north to tour the legendary city of Troy. Overnight Canakkale (B, D) 

Day 10 Sunday: Gallipoli Battlefields 

After breakfast, we visit the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli including Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials,

Day 1 

The boat will remain anchored in Marmaris harbor for this night. After dinner 

on board, the passengers can spend the evening at leisure to enjoy 

this seaside resort and its nightlife 

Day 2 

Head for Arap Island where lunch will be served. After a swimming break, 

proceed to Bozukkale, the ancient city of Loryma. You may visit the remains 

of the fortress, do surfing and swim here. Bozukkale in an incomparable 

cove with its natural and historical beauties. 

Day 3 

After breakfast, cruise to Bozburun. Bozburun is the village where the 

wooden gulets are being built. Overnight will be in one of the bays around 

this village. 

Day 4 

Make a short stop at Bencik - its local name being "where the fish jumps 

over". After a short walk up the hill, you can see the fantastic views of 

Gokova and Hisaronu bay at the same time. Our next destination is Datca 

which developed into a lively holiday village in the recent years. 

Day 5 

After fulfilling custom formalities, set sail for Symi, the first Greek island 

on our itinerary. Its charming traditional houses, most of them painted in 

warm pastel colours and built amphitheatrically around the port, are motive 

of numerous postcards and posters. 

Day 6 

After a lazy breakfast in view of the idyllic fisherman harbor of Symi, set 

sail towards the famous island of Rhodes where we will be arriving in the 

early afternoon. During our visit, you may enjoy major ancient findings, 

the old tower center, the castle and the windmills of Rhodes. At night, 

throw yourself heart and soul into the town's nightlife. 

Day 7 

After clearing formalities at Rhodes, move on to Marmaris port. En route, 

swimming breaks. Lunch will be served around Marmaris. Overnight at Marmaris

The purchase of any hotel accommodation, packages, air only, cruises, coach tours and car 

rentals, excursions, (hereinafter referred to as « services ») offered by SKYWAY TOURS constitutes 

a contractual agreement between SKYWAY TOURS and the customer and implies 

your acceptances of our terms and conditions described here below. 

Reservations & Deposits: 

Your Travel Agent should make all reservations and payments on your behalf. We will book 

the services requested. However, sometimes if we are unable to confirm such services, you will 

be offered the most suitable alternative. Once accepted by you, a non-refundable deposit of 

$ 400 per person is required. 

Final Payment: 

Final payment is due 60 days prior to your departure. We reserve the right to cancel your 

booking if full payment is not received within the required period. Bookings made within 60 

days of departure are payable in full at time of booking. 

Payment by Credit Cards: 

Your verbal authorization, given to your Travel Agent or to us directly, for the use of your 

credit card indicates your compliance with our booking conditions and confirms your reservation 

whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate authorization form. In the 

case where the traveler pays with a third person credit card, a written proof of consent must 

be provided. Once a credit card has been forwarded to SKYWAY TOURS to guarantee a reservation, 

the travel agent becomes responsible for payment and must keep a signed copy of 

the customer’s authorization on file. In the event that a cardholder refuses to honor a charge 

due to the absence of signature, the Travel Agent will be held responsible for full payment of 

the services. 

Cancellations & Refunds: 

Should you wish to cancel your booking, your Travel Agent must notify us in writing. No cancellation 

or changes are allowed after departure. Cancellations are subject to the following 

charges: 

• Up to 60 days prior to departure: Your deposit of $400 per person 

• 59-46 days prior to departure: 50% 

• 45-31 days prior to departure: 75% 

• 30 days prior to departure: 100% 

Travel Insurance: 

We strongly recommend customers purchase travel insurance that covers the risks associated 

with travelling to a foreign country such as emergency medical assistance and hospitalization 

as well as cancellations coverage and lost baggage. Consult with your Travel Agent for the 

plan best suited to your needs. 

Prices: 

SKYWAY TOURS reserves the right to increase its rates in the event of increases caused by a 

devaluation of the Canadian dollar, fuel surcharges imposed by transportation companies and 

government imposed taxes. 

Taxes and Service Charges: 

All tour packages are subject to various charges, such as destination hotel taxes and service 

charges, port taxes on cruises, local government taxes, handling charges as well as on packages 

inclusive of an airfare, airport taxes, security fees and departure tax. All such charges, as known 

at the time of printing, are included in a SKYWAY TOURS package price. However, such charges 

are subject to change and unless a holiday package is fully paid any such increase will be paid 

by the passenger. 

Air Transportation: 

In order to obtain the lowest possible airfare for you, SKYWAY TOURS has negotiated special 

advance purchase fares that have travel restrictions, modifications restrictions and cancellation 

provisions. Your Travel Agent will be notified of any conditions that may apply at the time 

your reservation is confirmed. 

Registration at the airport: 

You must present yourself at the airport for check-in at least 3 hours prior to your scheduled 

departure. Seat assignment is provided upon check-in. 

Baggage: 

Air carriers have individual rules and regulations with respect to baggage weight, size and 

number. Customers must consult with their travel agent for applicable restrictions. Customers 

participating to one of our coach tours have are allowed one piece of baggage not exceeding 

20 kilos. Passenger’s baggage and property are transported, stored and handled at owner’s 

risk at all time. 

Unused Services: 

No refunds or adjustments will be made for any unused or incomplete service. All air tickets 

are non-refundable, valid only for the flights indicated and cannot be exchanged for other 

flights. 

Brochure Descriptions: 

Every effort is made to ensure that, at the time of publication, all descriptions in the present 

brochure are accurate. If for several reasons beyond our control modifications can take place 

during the season which may affect brochure descriptions. Consequently, all information contained 

herein is subject to change or correction. It is the travel agent’s responsibility to advise 

the customer of these modifications. All photographs appearing in the brochure is to be used 

solely as an example. Customers are advised to make their selection according to price, location

those hotels with similar ones. Hoteliers and cruise lines are solely responsible for room/cabin 

allocation, in accordance with category reserved by customers. 

Accommodation rating: 

Some events are part of normal unpleasant occurrences which can happen when travelling 

abroad. Clients recognize such events and assume its consequences by agreeing not to hold 

SKYWAY TOURS responsible. Hotel ratings are provided and established by the Local Tourist 

Organizations in accordance with local standards and may be different from North American 

standards. Air conditioning in some European hotels is usually turned off during the off-peak 

season, unless it becomes necessary due to unusual heat wave. If your package includes a 

cruise holiday in the Greek Islands and you have recently used a Caribbean cruise, you should 

be made aware that the accommodation standards are different between the two products. 

To maintain the quality of services, hotel complexes must regularly undergo maintenance, improvement, 

renovation work and, in some instances, consider expansion. SKYWAY TOURS 

cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience caused to the client. 

Claims: 

Our services consist of several components provided by independent suppliers. In the event 

that any component is changed while on tour, our local representatives will try to give you 

the earliest possible notice and offer alternative arrangements of an equal value. If you utilize 

these new arrangements, it will be taken as your acceptance of the changes as full compensation 

of the cancelled or altered services. If you encounter a problem while abroad you must 

inform us, and our local Agent, immediately so that we may be able to rectify the problem. 

We will not accept any later claims since the problem may be difficult to rectify once you have 

returned home. If any matter is not resolved you must notify us in writing within 21 days of 

the completion of your tour. We accept no responsibility beyond the refund of the unused 

portion and such refund will be deemed to constitute full settlement. 

Documentation: 

All passengers are requested to have a valid passport. Certain countries require that the passport 

be valid for six (6) months beyond the date of return to Canada. It is the passenger’s 

responsibility to determine and obtain all documentation required by all relevant government 

authorities such as passport, visas etc... If the travel documents are not in order the carrier, 

be this an airline or a cruise company, reserve the right to refuse passage with no refund 

issued in such cases. Special conditions apply to children travelling alone or with one parent.

transportation, sightseeing, excursions, cruises, hotel accommodation and car rentals. The

contractors and are in no way affiliated with SKYWAY TOURS. We are not responsible for 

changes imposed on us by such suppliers. We are responsible in providing you with the services 

booked. However, all vouchers and other travel documents issued by us are subject to 

the terms and conditions specified by the supplier and to the laws of the country in which 

the services are rendered. In case the services you booked could not be supplied, we will endeavor 

to arrange comparable alternative services and any resulting additional expense should 

be payable by you while in the event of any resulting cost reduction should be refunded to 

you. If a tour is cancelled we have no responsibility beyond the refund of monies paid by you 

for that specific tour component. You agree that neither us or our affiliates shall be liable for 

any damage, loss (including personal injury, whether physical or mental, death and property
