Composite, lightweight stake racks – The Rugged American S.M.A.R.T. 

Racks are made of strong, impact resistant composite materials. Each 

rack interlocks with the next, eliminating the need for additional latching 

hardware that will rust and fail over time. The racks lock into the pockets,

as one of the leaders in product durability and customer satisfaction for over a quarter of a 

century. The year 2008 proved to be a year of exciting opportunity and transition. In August 

of that year, Midway Specialty Vehicles, LLC announced the integration of the existing product 

lines of American Cargo into the sales mix offered by Midway. This segment became known, 

simply, as American Cargo by Midway.

Delivery Vans are built on E-350 and E-450 Cutaways in various configurations with lengths 

up to 18 feet and longer. We have a great selection of pool chassis available to fit any request. 

We also manufacture dry freight vans on F-350 – F-550 Super Duty Chassis Cabs and can 

upfit F-650 & F-750 Super Duty with dry freight bodies ranging from 12-28 feet on

In 1912, Auto Safety House opened for business as a modest motorcycle shop in the small 

town of Jerome, Arizona. In the early fifties, it became apparent that the future growth of the 

company would be in parts and truck equipment products. Auto Safety House represents over 

230 different parts product lines and 17 major truck equipment manufacturers in addition to 

being a Thomas school bus distributor for Arizona and Nevada. Auto Safety House’s current

the industry. 12 GA galvanneal steel construction with 5” structural channel 

longmembers and 3” crossmembers supply the strength for this body. The heavy duty 

bulkhead with louvered cross bars and tapered rear skirt contain L.E.D. stop, turn 

lights, tail lights and reverse lights. Rolled radius fenders, stainless steel hand rails 

and a bright stainless steel treadplate trim kit add style. With a standard 2 5⁄16”

Reading’s innovative, state-of-the-art powder coating process sets the industry standard. High voltage 

spray equipment adheres fine polyester particles to every surface, resulting in a smooth and durable

to provide unbeatable rust and corrosion protection. Available sizes for F-350, F-450, 

and F-550 Super Duty ® chassis are 60’’ and 84’’ C/A featuring a conventional half

through capability. Standard Class C double-acting electric hydraulic scissor hoist,

ALUMINUM CLASSIC SERVICE VAN (CVS) 

The Classic Service Van (CVS) has many of the same outstanding features as 

the Classic II service body, including hidden hinges, complete stainless steel

LatchMatic ® remote locking system (with integrated alarm), compartment lighting 

system, Extend-A-Shelf shelf unit, and powder coat painting. Other features include

In 1979, brothers Gary, James and Mike Scelzi began manufacturing our line of flatbeds 

out of our company’s 4,500 square foot facility in Fresno, California. We added truck service 

bodies and crane bodies to our line in 1990. Today, Scelzi Enterprises is the Valley’s largest 

manufacturer and supplier of truck bodies and parts. Our operation now includes our 150,000 

(approx.) square foot facility on about 20 acres in Fresno and our Azusa California facility,

Scelzi Enterprises carries a full line of service and utility bodies. They can be 

ordered with a wide variety of options and accessories. These include: ladder racks, 

vise stands and roller tops and super structures. We have applications for SRW from 

56” to 60” CA, to DRW from 56” to 108” CA . They can be ordered with compartments 

that are 33”, 38” or 43” tall, with vertical or horizontal arrangement and open or 

closed tops. 

SCELZI COMBO BODY 

The Combo Body is a very popular body with mechanics, welders, plumbers and 

electricians. It comes with a standard forklift access ladder rack and 36” work 

deck with 15” fold down composite side racks. The Combo Body is available for 

60” CA SRW and DRW 60” to 108” CA. It can be ordered with 33”, 38” and 43”

The Contractor Body comes in a variety of sizes from 7’ x 9’ to 8’ x 14’. The Contractor

panel with 14 gauge hat section reinforcement, gas shock door holders, clip-on 

rubber door seal, stainless steel surface mount hinges and 3-point D-handles with 

rollers on doors to ensure secure closure. Compartment tops, inside centers and

ARBORTECH CHIP BODY 

The ARBORTECH Chip Body is built with the professional arborist in mind. This 

heavy-duty, all galvanneal steel body features smooth body sides that provide a

the box interior to offer the ultimate in protection from the loading and dumping
