Engine Pro’s new black nitrided race rings have features only found in very
expensive advanced race rings at value pricing.
The super smooth nitrided surfaces lower parasitic drag and provide extreme
sealing capabilities. The stainless steel composition lets NITRO Black
rings maintain their original tension much longer than cast rings.
• Two top rings and oil rails are made of black,
gas nitride hardened stainless steel
• Faces of top ring and oil rails are ceramic PVD
coated and have a very low coefficient of friction
for superior scuff and heat resistance
and excellent seating
• Second ring Napier design for optimum durability
and oil scraping ability under the most severe
performance conditions
• Gas nitride and ceramic PVD are
completely compatible with all fuels,
injections and Nikasil coated cylinder bores
NITRO Black rings have been dyno tested to
measurably improve horsepower.
