About the batch<br />

<strong>IMT</strong> Ghaziabad is recognized as the front runner in Business Education countrywide and the PGDM (Executive) program, which is<br />

now in the fourteenth year of its operation, is one of the most coveted and sought after full time residential executive management<br />

programs. One of the highlighting points about the program is the fact that the course curriculum is regularly updated to cater to<br />

Full Time AICTE approved 15 months specialized residential course <strong>for</strong> professionals with minimum 5 years of work experience. The<br />

Life at <strong>IMT</strong><br />

The full time courses at <strong>IMT</strong> are compulsorily residential. Thus, the interaction between thestudents from various parts of the<br />

country in itself provides valuable educational inputs. The campus is spread over more than 14 acres of sprawling lush green lawns<br />

and provides an ambient atmosphere most conducive to learning. Learning beyond the classroom is extended to an amphitheatre<br />

on campus, set amidst a botanical garden. Facilities have been provided <strong>for</strong> a wide variety of indoor and outdoor games to keep<br />

students physically and mentally fit. To develop entrepreneurship and decision-making skills, along with team spirit amongst<br />

The PGDM (Executive) Program<br />

PGDM (Executive) programme of <strong>IMT</strong> Ghaziabad is a Full Time AICTE approved 15 months specialized residential course <strong>for</strong><br />

working professionals which provides diverse learning opportunities in a short span.<br />

The Executive Program is currently rated 8th in the country by CNBC TV18 2012 survey.<br />

“The world over, executive MBA programs have become very successful at giving a new direction to mid-career executives. So it is<br />

with <strong>IMT</strong>’s executive PGDM. It comprises a set of experienced executives from diverse verticals and functions. But they are all united<br />

by a desire to excel in the corporate world” says Dr. Rajendra Nargundkar, Senior Dean- Academics at <strong>IMT</strong>. The course enhances<br />

their analytical and decision making skills so that they can efficiently deal with various aspects of business and handle the roles and<br />

responsibilities of senior management effectively.<br />

Selection Criteria<br />

<strong>IMT</strong> has one of the most rigorous selection processes <strong>for</strong><br />

selecting candidates from all over the country, <strong>for</strong> its niche<br />

PGDM (Executive) program. Candidates are short listed <strong>for</strong><br />

group discussion and interview on the basis of their latest<br />

GMAT or CAT score or the <strong>IMT</strong> Entrance test conducted<br />

in seven major cities across India. Past work experience,<br />

academic per<strong>for</strong>mance and extra curricular achievements also<br />

count. The candidates are evaluated <strong>for</strong> leadership potential<br />

and management capability through group discussion and<br />

personal interview.<br />

Learning Methodology<br />

The PGDM (Executive) program at <strong>IMT</strong> consists of much more<br />

than theory - hands-on experience lets students put into<br />

practice the lessons learned in class. In <strong>IMT</strong>, the learning model<br />

encompasses a broad ground of concepts with case studies<br />

and real life projects. Apart from this, seminars, simulations<br />

and group projects are incorporated to hone students’<br />

learning and management skills to peak per<strong>for</strong>mance levels.<br />

Students have maximum flexibility in choosing electives across<br />

streams, regardless of their specialization, allowing them the<br />

satisfaction of studying subjects that interest them beyond the<br />

core course.<br />

With <strong>IMT</strong> Ghaziabad’s campus near the Delhi NCR region,<br />

students have extensive and regular interaction with industry<br />
