She’s cute. She’s sweet. She’s polite. But d<strong>on</strong>’t be<br />
fooled. Underneath it all, <strong>the</strong> girl is as fierce a<br />
<strong>com</strong>petitor as <strong>the</strong>y <strong>com</strong>e. It’s why, when looking<br />
back <strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>her</str<strong>on</strong>g> first appearance <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> nati<strong>on</strong>al-level<br />
stage as a <strong>the</strong>n-wide-eyed 20-year-old, she<br />
doesn’t mince words.<br />
“I got my ass kicked,” <str<strong>on</strong>g>Wilkins</str<strong>on</strong>g>-<str<strong>on</strong>g>Lee</str<strong>on</strong>g> says<br />
of <str<strong>on</strong>g>her</str<strong>on</strong>g> 19th-place finish in <str<strong>on</strong>g>her</str<strong>on</strong>g> class at<br />
<strong>the</strong> 2004 NPC Junior Nati<strong>on</strong>als.<br />
“I was in <strong>the</strong> sec<strong>on</strong>d- or third-tolast<br />
callout. I was embarrassed.<br />
But I wouldn’t take it back. It<br />
was a learning experience.”<br />
