Excel 1 - St. Marys<br />
This course will cover basic Excel screen overview, understanding<br />
and developing formulas, basic functions (sum, average, max, min),<br />
absolute and relative cell referencing, basic formatting and working<br />
with worksheets (inserting, renaming, deleting), and worksheet<br />
layout. This will be a fun-filled, fast-paced course.<br />

In this course you will learn more advanced functions (IF, COUNTIF,<br />
SUMIF, VLookup, HLookup, etc.), more complicated formulas such<br />
as 3D formulas, how to do list processing, pivot tables and charting.<br />
Participants should have previous Excel experience or have taken the<br />
Basic Excel course.<br />

This course will review the new Access features for 2010. You will<br />
learn about relational databases, terms and concepts, field types, data<br />
types, and naming rules and conventions. You will also learn how<br />
to create a basic table, query, form and report both by using wizards<br />
and by design from scratch. Learn how to sort and filter data to customize<br />
views. You will also have an introduction to table relationships<br />
editing a table, a form, and a query.<br />

Micros<strong>of</strong>t Access 2010 Intermediate - St. Marys<br />
Using more advanced features <strong>of</strong> Access 2010, you will learn about<br />
multiple tables, table relationships, creating queries, forms, subforms,<br />
reports from multiple tables, creating lookup fields and tables.<br />
You will learn how to control user input and reduce input errors<br />
by setting validation rules and other parameters. Learn the many<br />
uses <strong>of</strong> Property Sheets and field and record controls, and generate<br />
advanced queries to customize user views by using criteria and other<br />
methods. Other topics covered will be database security, setting user<br />
access, importing and exporting to/from Excel and Word and other<br />
file types.<br />

Basic Digital Photography - St. Marys<br />
If you are interested in learning more about how to use your digital<br />
camera besides just “pointing and shooting” then you will want<br />
to take this course. You will learn about framing, composition and<br />
creativity in taking great pictures. Topics covered will include taking<br />
not just good, but great pictures; an introduction to basic camera<br />
functions and their uses; taking pictures beyond the ordinary; and<br />
handling special scenes, including backlit scenes, sports and action<br />
photos, family & children, portraits, landscapes, close-ups and macro<br />
photography. Students<br />
must bring their own<br />
digital camera.<br />
