Dear Traveller,

Glen Moroney

Founder and

Managing Director

Welcome to our exciting new Western Australia

and Northern Territory Tours for 2012.

We invite you to join us on one of our unforgettable holidays through Western Australia’s unique

Kimberley, amazing Pilbara, stunning Coral Coast and the fascinating landscapes of the Northern

Territory. This is an adventure of a lifetime through some of Australia’s most incredible and iconic

regions, with lands as dramatic as they are diverse.

This is a country like no other, where you can be cruising across the spectacular Katherine Gorge

or riding camels at sunset along the famed white sands of Cable Beach one day and admiring

Nourlangie Rock’s ancient Aboriginal rock art or making friends with Monkey Mia’s wild bottle

nose dolphins the next. Every day will bring a new surprise as you come face to face with the

spectacle and grandeur of these inspiring parts of our country.

Scenic Tours is a

private, Australian

owned company

and we are proud

of the wonderful

travel experiences

we have brought

to so many guests

in Australia and

overseas.”

Scenic Tours provide truly authentic Australian holidays, with the promise of the experience of a

lifetime. Taking in the vast landscapes of Western Australia and the Northern Territory, these tours

exude awesome natural attractions and World Heritage listed National Parks. You will encounter

prolific wildlife, rare gems and experience the region’s rich Aboriginal history. We will also

introduce you to ‘must-see’ icons such as Kakadu, Uluru Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon, the cultural

delights of the cities of Darwin and Perth, and take you off the beaten track to many extraordinary

waterways and outback surprises including the Pilbara, Emma Gorge and Ningaloo Reef.

A Scenic Tours holiday is all-inclusive so you only have to plan for your personal spending.

We believe that this is the best way to cover these amazing parts of Australia. We know that

sometimes when travelling things aren’t always as described, but we guarantee what we say is

exactly what you receive and we know you’ll appreciate the remarkable value and peace of mind

that Scenic Tours provides. If we describe a hotel as luxury, then it is. If we say it’s located close to

the centre of the city, that’s where you’ll find it. And if we say that a particular attraction is included,

it is. To us ‘included’ means exactly that.

We love what we do and pride ourselves on always providing the ultimate holiday experience,

whatever the destination, from working with the best partners to our meticulous attention to

detail in selecting the best hotels, planning the day-to-day itineraries and the perfect balance of

meals. And of course, recruiting the very best Tour Directors and Coach Captains in the industry.

Scenic Tours is a private, Australian-owned company with passionate staff who go to work every

day to create and host the wonderful travel experiences we have shared with so many guests,

both in Australia and overseas. I find it personally rewarding that so many of you travel with us

again and again.

To those who have enjoyed a tour with us before, we look forward to welcoming you back. And

to those who are considering us for the first time, we hope to have the pleasure of your company

in the near future.

Glen Moroney

Hidden treasures, Colourful landscapes,

Abundant wildlife, Ancient cultures

The abundance of

wildlife will astound

Prepare to be enchanted by this rich and ancient land. There are few places in the world where you

will find such a unique blend of superb natural landscapes and ancient traditional culture mixed with

real Aussie outback hospitality. Western Australia and the Northern Territory will leave an impression of

beauty and vastness, colour and contrast that makes any holiday a rich and fulfilling experience.

The Kimberley

Join Scenic Tours as we take you on an amazing journey of discovery through the Kimberley; one of the

last great wilderness areas in the world. Be captivated by the rugged expanse and rich colour of this vast

region. From pristine coastlines of Cable Beach to the deep gorges of Katherine, from lush rainforests of

Kakadu to red earth and rocky landscapes of the Bungle Bungles, the Kimberley will leave you with an

abundance of memorable experiences.

The West Coast

Engulfed by a 2.5 billion year old landscape, the rugged Pilbara region contains world-class National

Parks including Karijini, regarded as one of Australia’s most stunning natural assets with its tapestry of

deep red gorges and sheer waterfalls. Rich in natural resources, the Pilbara is also the backbone for

Australia’s fast growing mining industry.

Flanked by azure waters, the Coral Coast is a treasure trove of pristine beaches, exotic marine life and

national reserves with opportunities to interact with the friendly bottle nose dolphins of Monkey Mia or

the famous gentle giant of the sea, the whale shark.

The Northern Territory

A visit to the Northern Territory is like stepping back to a forgotten time; the land, people and culture

are ancient and you can feel their significance from the moment you arrive. It is also a land full of

Australia’s natural icons such as Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Katherine Gorge and Kakadu and a trip here will leave

you captivated and wanting more.
