Gosia Pawlak graduated from<br />

Barnard-Columbia in 2010 with BA in<br />

Political Science. She is continuing her<br />

studies at the Josef Korbel <strong>School</strong> of<br />

International Studies at the University<br />

of Denver as a first year MA candidate<br />

in International Development. In<br />

addition, she also works for the White<br />

House Project, an organization that<br />

promotes women’s leadership up to<br />

U.S Presidency and conducts nationwide<br />

political trainings for women<br />

interested in politics and social change.<br />

Gosia is looking forward to her sister’s<br />

wedding in Aruba in April and working<br />

in Washington D.C. for the Fall <strong>2011</strong><br />

semester.<br />

Steve Lohmann is in training to<br />

become a pilot for the United States Air<br />

Force.<br />

Steve Hartman is living in Snowmass,<br />

Colorado driving snowcats and<br />

snowmobiles, and snowboarding daily.<br />

Class of ’07: Nicolle Troyano<br />

graduates in May with Health<br />

Science Major with a concentration<br />

in Anesthesia and a dual minor in<br />

Chemistry and Dance. She has been<br />

accepted into a Post-Bac Program for<br />

Anesthesia Technologists, and will be<br />

certified next year.<br />

Alumni Football Game<br />

On Saturday, November 27th, alumni braved the<br />

cold to play the Annual Alumni Football Game.<br />

With a nice crowd to cheer them on, a good time<br />

was had by all!<br />

married on July 24, 2010 at Macari Winery (photo left).<br />

Good Things to Come: Don Smith (Math & Art) became engaged to Stephanie Perdue on<br />

Christmas Eve, 2010. A summer of 2012 wedding is planned.<br />

Welcome to the Family … Stacie (Schmitt)<br />

Stueber (English & Journalism) and her<br />

husband welcomed their 4th child on January<br />

5, <strong>2011</strong>. Ryan Michael Stueber weighed in at<br />

7 lbs. 10 oz. and 20 inches (photo right).<br />

Good Job! Over Christmas break, Carolyn<br />

Taylor (Science) completed TWO marathons<br />

while “vacationing” in Florida.<br />
