manufactures chucking components for the physical tests involved in
developing composite guide rails for a fan structure in aircraft engines.

A ski binding you can rely on
Nearly 100 years old, Rottefella is a Norwegian
manufacturer of innovative, high-quality bindings.
The manufacture of ski bindings requires high strength
sheet metal that is able to withstand complex bending.
Rottefella has been using Triflex for more than
20 years – it is a surface decarburised steel made by
Duroc Special Steel with a hard core surrounded by a
softer shell, and can be formed into narrow radius bends.

Duroc Engineering laser impregnates the
wearing surfaces of a chuck for System 3R.
The impregnation gives the chuck local hardness
that resists extreme abrasion while also
enabling it to be produced from a softer base
material that is superior from the machining
and vibration perspective.
Maintenance services for heavy transports
Duroc Rail's full-service maintenance of railway wheelsets
includes reprofiling, bearings revision and change
of the wheel discs. Increases in rail traffic, higher axle
loads and faster trains are raising the demand for highquality,
high-performance wheelset maintenance.
Duroc Rail has been approved by Bombardier Transportation
for maintaining the wheelsets on IORE, Europe's
largest iron ore locomotive.
