Scholarship Recipients
The Sigma Kappa Foundation would like to congratulate our 46 collegiate and alumnae members who have been
awarded Foundation scholarships for the 2005-2006 academic year! These women are outstanding role models for
Sigma Kappa and exemplify the meaning of sisterhood, service, and Sigma Kappa spirit.
This year, the Sigma Kappa Foundation is pleased to announce two new endowed scholarships: the Evelyn S. Nish
Scholarship and Mary Turnbull Schacht Memorial Scholarship. Both will be awarded for the 2006-2007 academic year.
Applications, details, and qualifications regarding these scholarships and all other Foundation scholarships are listed on
the scholarship application and at the Sigma Kappa Foundation Web site at www.sigmakappafoundation.org.
“Sigma Kappa has provided me with
opportunities that I never would have
experienced as a non-member.
Not only does Sigma Kappa encourage lifelong
sisterhood, a commitment to service and a
lifetime of learning, but Sigma Kappa also
encourages all members to better themselves
and to set high, but achievable, goals.”
