SA medals<br />

<strong>The</strong> SA Division held its annual dinner on<br />

20 July 2006 during which the Bruce Webb<br />

medal was awarded to Maud McBriar and<br />

the Walter Howchin medal was awarded to<br />

Chris Clark.<br />

Derek Carter, Managing Director, Minotaur<br />

Exploration Ltd, was the after dinner speaker.<br />

Derek gave a provocative address ‘Geology<br />

as an Art’ with particular reference to the<br />

discovery <strong>of</strong> the Prominent Hill orebody.<br />
