With a solid state circuit board, air-assisted return, sturdy seals,<br />
and an innovative tri-power system, <strong>Alkon</strong>’s Indy Series delivers<br />
consistent, reliable performance - even in the most hostile<br />
environments. Indy’s non-locking manual override allows for<br />
tooling setup and exceptional cyclability. Solid state technology<br />
has replaced all internal wiring with a printed circuit board design.<br />
It incorporates a built-in surge suppressor, a plug-in solenoid,<br />
solid state LED, and is PLC compatible.<br />
<strong>Alkon</strong>’s air relay technology maximizes valve speed while<br />
simultaneously reducing power consumption. Our patented<br />
“thin lip” seals are fabricated from PTFE-loaded Viton. This<br />
combined with Indy’s innovated end seals provide a dirt-tolerant,<br />
positive air tight seal assuring the user millions of cycles of highly<br />
reliable operation.<br />

Tri-Powered: The Indy incorporates a low watt solenoid pilot<br />
valve, <strong>Alkon</strong>’s air relay technology and an air assisted spring return<br />
to virtually guarantee valve function - every time.<br />
Maximum Flow: The Indy series of air valves have the highest<br />
flow ratings in the industry.<br />
Speedy “Pits” and Changeovers: Spool replacement is easyjust<br />
remove the end cap and slide in a new pre-lubed spool.<br />
Fast Response: Air-assisted return, air relay technology, and the<br />
tri-power system guarantee fast valve response on every cycle.<br />
Low Maintenance: The solid state circuit board and easy-toreplace<br />
spool substantially reduce the need for maintenance on the<br />
Indy series.<br />
Low Power Consumption: The Indy’s air pilot solenoid, low<br />
watt coil, and built-in air relay technology provide maximum<br />
performance with a minimum of power.<br />
Multiple Voltage Options: You will always have the right valve<br />
on your team with this Indy feature. One valve, one connector for<br />
24VDC to 120VDC and 48VAC to 120VAC.<br />
Wiring Options: Other pin combinations are available in addition<br />
to automotive versions.<br />
Reduced-Wear Components: A wear-resistant thin lip piston<br />
along with the Indy’s rugged end seals help to ensure that the Indy<br />
is a dependable, long lasting air valve system.<br />
Warranty: 5-years for defects in material (including solenoids)<br />
and workmanship; soft seals warranteed for 18 months as normal<br />
