Profit Sharing Plan

In addition to a Profit Sharing Plan, Dana and Jim recognize the value of family and personal time

by having 'flex time' with standard office work hours. Employees are allowed flexible work hours

and personal time that suits individual needs, providing personal freedom within the 8:00 to 5:00 business day.

CustomerRelations

Free enterprise allows DJdesign

the opportunity to broaden our range of services by utilizing state-of-the-art 3D design and rendering software,

understanding innovative building techniques, and learning about technological advances in building materials.

A significant challenge that DJdesign has encountered during the past

few years is keeping up technologically with the larger architectural firms. To stay competitive,

employees received educational training on new software platforms which allow us to build digital models

that can be 'walked around' and handed over to consultants on the design team for collaborative efforts.

With 5 full-time employees, DJdesign is a comfortable size

and operates effectively. Each project receives attention from at least two architects; we will not jeopardize

that by 'over-reaching'.

Going digital - using as little paper as possible. Using the 'cloud' to distribute information is instantaneous; it

cuts processing time in half. It benefits the environment - by reducing waste and the need for paper products

(deforestation). It enables us to keep a digital record of all office files, and a backup of the record.
