Scala Rider Helmet Communications Systems
The Scala family of Bluetooth headsets can free you from wires, cables, and
power cords. Imagine being able to receive route instructions from your GPS
without ever taking your eyes off the road. How about making and taking calls
from your cell phone nestled safely in your tank bag (The phone not you!)
When stationary of course! With many Bluetooth enabled GPS’ you can use
your GPS as a bridge between your Bluetooth phone and Scala headset. These
headsets fit virtually all helmets, full-face, modular, and open-face. For halfhelmets,
an accessory kit is required (see item SRAKHH below). These rugged
headsets are waterproof and dustproof, and the module is easily removable.

Accessories for Scala Rider Headsets
Scala Rider Half-Helmet Audio and Microphone Kit
For those of you that prefer half-helmets, skid
lids, brain buckets, and the like, Scala has a
Half-Helmet Audio and Microphone kit. This
kit includes two ear curtains to locate the provided
speakers or speaker (if your local laws
only allow a single speaker in MC helmets), a
half-helmet clamp with boom mic, and MP3
cable. This kit will work with any FM, Teamset,
or Q2 module. Some helmets such as the Scorpion EXO-100 (page 22)
come with dedicated speaker pockets already in place. Give us a call for
more fitment info.

Scala Rider Audio & Microphone Kit
If you tend to switch back and forth between helmets, Scala has an Audio
and Microphone kit that provides you with another helmet clamp with
attached speakers and boom mic. Just swap your module to the helmet du

The Q2 and G4 family of headsets have all the common features listed at left,
plus the ability to communicate from bike-to-bike, and receive a stereo
Bluetooth signal for listening to MP3 tracks from your phone or GPS.
