and productivity. It is not OK to come to work every day in a bad mood because the job is hard! This is the
message that Liz will deliver laced with her notorious humor.
As founder and CEO of Liz, inc, a consulting practice formed to help organizations develop a customer
service culture driven by increased employee satisfaction, Liz directly addresses the concerns facing
Nobody likes to be rushed,
especially babies.
Your baby needs at least a full 40 weeks of
pregnancy to grow and develop. Inducing labor
even a week or two early is associated with a
host of risks, including prematurity, cesarean
surgery, hemorrhage and infection.
While it may seem convenient for you or your
health care provider, labor should only be
induced for medical reasons.
Your baby will let you know when he’s ready to
come out, so give him at least a full 40 weeks.
Movie Screening - The Edge of Joy
Suellen Miller, PhD, RN, CNM, MHA
The Edge of Joy is a documentary film that follows an ensemble cast of Nigerian
doctors, midwives and families to the frontlines of maternal care. Inside a maternity
ward, the film chronicles distressed labors, deaths, and miraculous survival.
Outside, lack of blood supply transportation and family planning are examined
as causes of the cycle that kills more than 36,000 Nigerian women each year.
The central characters in The Edge of Joy are the people deep within the
Nigerian culture who know its misconceptions, its limitations, but also its
capabilities. Narrated by award winning journalist, Eliza Griswold, and featuring
animation by Yoni Goodman, this portrait of pregnancy and childbirth shows
the consequences of poor maternal health as it explores the nuances and
complexities of bringing emerging health technologies to the developing world.
24 Music City Is Calling!

The Wildhorse Saloon
It’s been called Nashville’s #1 dining and entertainment
destination and a mecca of entertainment in America.
A three-level historic warehouse is transformed into a
66,000 square foot live music and dance destination. The
Wildhorse is simultaneously a restaurant, bar, concert
site, dance venue and TV studio. Annually, more than 1.5
million music fans stampede to the Wildhorse to have a
great meal, catch the hottest in live entertainment and
learn the newest dance steps. Shuttle service is available
from the Gaylord Opryland and Convention Center.
Franklin Theatre
The Franklin Theatre opened in the summer of 1937 when
the marquee first illuminated Main Street. The downtown
Franklin landmark closed in 2007 but the Heritage Foundation
of Franklin, a nonprofit preservation group, stepped
in to buy and rehabilitate the historic landmark. After three
years of work, and an investment of more than $8 million,
the historic Franklin Theatre reopened better than ever. It
features classic movies and concerts from artists such as
Little Texas, Jars of Clay, Mac McAnally and more.
Sweet CeCe’s
Sweet CeCe’s is a fun, colorful sweet treat spot offering
a variety of fat-free frozen yogurt flavors. Kids love the
self-serve menu and the tantalizing toppings, from their
favorite candy to old-school favorites such as hot fudge
sauce, while adults love the fat-free yogurt and healthier
toppings like fresh fruit.
Nashville Sounds Baseball
Take me out to the ball game! You can always ensure a
great day at the ball field with the Nashville Sounds.
print shops in America. Located in a historic building at
316 Broadway in the heart of downtown Nashville,
