Touch Football Internal
Years 5 & 6
An ear-piercing sound rang through our ears
as we started to play touch. The Redbulls
had wings, winning both of their games. The
Eskies kept their cool to win 2 games. The
Bushrangers shot down the Rams and the
Red Backs to win 2 games. The Rams got lost
in the flock with 1 win and 1 loss. The Red
Backs were hanging from a thin web with 1
win. The Blue Crabs got swept out to sea
without a win. The Koalas couldn’t find the
trees and the Eels had no electric feel.
Redbulls are winning on 33 points and as
they say no red bull no happy ending. Lizzie

McLachlan: Charlie Pitman

McLachlan: In Touch Footy on Saturday
McLachlan's first opponents were
Gordon. With good passing and team work,
McLachlan won 7-1. Next was Brown vs.
McLachlan and once again improvement in
ball skills saw McLachlan win 3-1. It was
good to play at PLC for a change. Charlie
Pittman
Douglas: The three Douglas teams were
keen to play a game of touch football on
Saturday. Douglas Light unfortunately lost
their first game against Brown Light 4-1 and
sat out the second game taking on the
scoring duties. For their first game Douglas
Middle were scoring and lost their second
game against Gordon Light 4-1. Douglas
Dark won against Brown Dark 6-1 and also
against Gordon Dark 7-1. Thank you to the
teachers for coaching. Kelsea Bellamy
Brown House: What a scorcher of a morning
when the Brown Dark and Brown Light
played touch footy on Saturday. We are all
starting to improve greatly as a team.
Mitchell, Juliet & Jemima scored some
wonderful tries. Great passing from Kiara,
Eva, Trent, Jessie, Amelia, Myriam & myself.

Gordon: At 9.30 Gordon Light vs McLachlan
Light. We won with 4 tries to 1. At the same
time Gordon Dark lost 7-1 with the only try
by Zac. After that Gordon Dark lost again 6-
1 and Gordon Light won 5-1.
Competitive Touch
Football:
Stingrays: With the team revved up and
ready to go we scored within seconds of the
game. Brandon scored his first try of the
season with great speed he placed the ball
firmly on the ground. George, Charles and
Tom set up great tries and the end score was
7-4 our way. Charlie Steele-Park
Cricket
U10 Pontings: On a cool Thursday evening,
the Pontings were ready for a game of
cricket. We won the toss and chose to bat
first. There was some fantastic batting and
calling for runs with many 6’s, 4’s and 2’s
scored. The Pontings bowled some great
balls until a horrible storm hit. We had to
go home because it was too dangerous with
the lightning around. Well done Pontings,
keep up the excellent work. Hannah Solari
KWS Lees U12’s: On a hot Saturday morning
at PLC2, Kinross U/12 Lees faced off against
SJS Apple City. We lost the toss, batted first
and were all out for 63. Top
scorers: Charlie 10, Lizzie 4. SJS scored
119 with Drew Weber taking 1 wicket for
