For twenty six years, Iran was a virtual colony of the US corporations and the Pentagon. During<br />
these years, the process of Iran's integration into the global capitalist market dominated by the US<br />
was consolidated. Iran's role, along with other countries in the region was to deliver cheap oil and<br />
receive mostly finished consumer commodities.<br />
