is forbidden. However a demonstration event combining the above vehicles<br />

may take place with the prior written consent of the Directors of MCRCB.<br />

8.4 PERMITS AND STATUS OF COMPETITIONS<br />

Permits according to the status of the meeting may be issued as follows:<br />

a) International<br />

b) National<br />

c) Below National Status<br />

where they are organised on circuits which are members of AMRCO.<br />

8.5 TITLE OF A COMPETITION<br />

The MCRCB distinguishes between the following types of meetings.<br />

- British Superbike Championship<br />

- British Championship (other) and National Championship<br />

- Class or Sponsor Championship<br />

- Non Championship<br />

8.5.1 British Superbike Championship<br />

International and/or National meetings are controlled by these Regulations<br />

and are inscribed in the FIM Calendar.<br />

8.5.2 British Championship (other) and National Championship<br />

International and/or National Meetings or Races are controlled by these<br />

Regulations.<br />

8.5.3 Class or Sponsor Championship<br />

International and/or National Meetings or Races are controlled by these<br />

Regulations.<br />

8.5.4 Non Championship<br />

Meetings or Races are authorised by the MCRCB where they are organised<br />

on circuits who are members of the Association of Motor <strong>Racing</strong> Circuit<br />

Owners (AMRCO).<br />

8.6 POSTPONEMENT OR CANCELLATION OF A MEETING<br />

The MCRCB or its agent may postpone or cancel a meeting if it has already<br />

started. If it has been completed, the MCRCB may declare void an<br />

approved meeting as well as order an amendment to the results.<br />

8.7 PERMIT FEES<br />

The MCRCB or its agent is entitled to charge a Permit fee and enter into an<br />

agreement with a circuit or corporate body for any Championship or event,<br />

subject to approval by the Directors of MCRCB.<br />

8.8 INSURANCE<br />

- The MCRCB will organise Insurance in accordance with article I –<br />

Insurance in this Yearbook at events permitted by the MCRCB.<br />

- Riders are responsible for “Road Traffic Act” insurance<br />

8.8.1 OFFICIAL PROGRAMME<br />

The programme, as well as all other announcements useful to spectators,<br />

must include the following information:<br />

- A numbered list of riders, passengers, entrant, machine and home<br />

town/country<br />

- Time schedule for the meeting.<br />

- The names of the officials in charge of the safety and the running of the<br />

event.<br />
