An inert gas is injected into an arc chamber<br />

The gas expands and rushes from the torch as an<br />

Diesel oil used for ship propulsion is so-called heavy fuel or bunker oil, which is the<br />

heaviest distillate from the refining of raw oil. The quality varies substantially.<br />
