• Students must have a strong sense of place which will allow<br />

<strong>the</strong>m to explore elsewhere, whe<strong>the</strong>r it be <strong>the</strong> place <strong>the</strong>y were<br />

born or <strong>the</strong> place <strong>the</strong>y journeyed to.<br />

• A sense of place can only come with understanding and<br />

exploring all those things that are connected with place;<br />

culture, history, language, people etc.<br />

• An exploration of place inevitably will lead most students to an<br />

exploration of <strong>the</strong>mselves.
