If you aspire to become a fashion graduate and join the global fashion industry then this course is for you. • Fashion is about creating and thinking, you will learn how to recognise the factors that influence future design - the world around you, countries and economies, people and places, music, art, film and literature will all influence the way you think and react as a designer. • Build your confidence and ability across a range of skills designed to develop your knowledge of fashion in all its guises. • Enjoy excellent fashion resources including the newly equipped workshops and computer labs supporting design, creative pattern development, garment construction and presentation. • Benefit from module options and access to staff and resources in illustration, graphics, photography, advertising and textile design. • Study core modules in fashion management and marketing delivered in collaboration with the University of Wolverhampton Business School. • Work with experienced academic tutors who have a wealth of experience of the fashion industry and continue to practice. • Attend guest lectures. Recent speakers have included Wayne Hemingway and Ally Capelino. • Have the opportunity to take part in overseas visits to the world’s fashion capitals, London, Paris, Milan and New York. • Gain valuable work experience and work with industry through live projects and competitions. The School of Art and Design’s Creative Studio will assist in finding the right placement opportunity for you. • Take part in workshop activities, seminars and lectures, field trips and international visits.
