Status of DMAs in Maynilad

807 DMAs have been established and integrated in
Netbase
460 District Meter Points are logged and 91%
provide good quality data

374 Critical Monitoring Points have been set-up
and 98% provide good quality data
The Effect of Night-use on Operability
• The consumptions of very large users makes it
difficult to estimate the night leakage and therefore
affects Operability
• In Maynilad there are approximately 1400 large
users
• Currently the top 100 large users are continuously
logged which helps with improving Operability
• Currently domestic and non-domestic night-use is
being investigated so as to be estimated as part of
the water balance, this will also improve
Operability
9

Example - effect of Large Users on
Night-use
• A logged large user where the night use varies
significantly
10

Example - effect of Large Users on
Night-use
• A logged large user where the night use is almost
zero because of an elevated tank and pump.
