<strong>Development</strong> of life skills to enhance the overall capability of students by providing<br />

training in the following topics:-<br />

a) Entrepreneurship<br />

b) Women empowerment<br />

c) Team work and interpersonal relationship<br />

d) Time & stress management<br />

e) Self esteem and assertiveness<br />

f) Communication & presentation skills<br />

g) Gender equality & human rights<br />

h) Right to information act<br />

i) Salesmanship<br />

Evaluation to be done based on the attendance, involvement in exercises, follow up<br />

reports etc: -<br />

The faculty for training may be sourced from experts in the department and from outside.<br />

The fund required may be sourced from District Panchayath or by self-generation. The<br />

minimum duration of one training session should not be less than 1½ hour.<br />

Field visit :- Visit to <strong>garment</strong> manufacturing and <strong>designing</strong> units to familiarise with the<br />

actual working of those units is suggested.<br />
