Day 1 / Arrive Lima, Peru

Arrive in Lima, receive a warm welcome from our

representative and be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 / Lima, The City of Kings,

World Heritage Site

Visit Lima’s principal attractions, such as the Plaza

Mayor and the Government Palace, the Church of

Santo Domingo, the Convent of San Francisco and

the Archbishop’s Palace, which features some of

Lima’s finest architecture. View the development of

Peruvian pre-Columbian history with a private visit

through the Larco Museum. You will have access to

the museum’s storage area with its 45,000 classified

archaeological artifacts. (Private - 4 hours)

Then, enjoy a Peruvian Fiesta with a Peruvian Paso

Horse Exhibition. Watch these elegant, noble and

unique animals, and the work of their trainers, the

“chalanes”. These champion horses participate in

the most important contests in Lima and abroad.

Savour a delicious Criollo cuisine meal, presented by

the family owners of the hacienda. Criollo cuisine’s

spicy flavours, and exotic mixtures allows us to

tantalize you with some of Peru’s most

representative dishes. (Private - 6 hours)

Return to the hotel to relax before dining at Astrid &

Gaston, a restaurant owned by Gaston Acurio, who

is considered the best Peruvian chef today.

He promotes Peruvian cuisine in all its forms, but

has a special affinity for recreating lost indigenous

recipes and creating new dishes based on traditional

ingredients. He is famous for being a tireless

ambassador for Peruvian cuisine beyond the

country’s borders.

Day 3 / Flightseeing the Nazca Lines

from Lima

In the morning, transfer to the airport to board a

full-day chartered flight to Nazca, where you will

overfly the Nazca Lines. (Private - 5.30 hours,

30 minutes over Nazca Lines)

Return from Nazca to your hotel and enjoy the

afternoon at your leisure.

Spend dinner at the Casa Garcia Alvarado family

house, which is opened to visitors seeking an

exclusive luxury travel experience in Peru. After

enjoying pisco sours served in the drawing room,

take a tour of this historic house.

Day 4 / Lima - Cusco Inca & Colonial


After breakfast, fly business class to Cusco. Upon

your arrival, spend some time relaxing at your hotel.

In the afternoon, visit Cusco and its surrounding

ruins with your private guide. Visit the Cathedral,

Korikancha (the Sun Temple), and walk around this

wonderful city. In addition, visit Sacsayhuaman and

other Inca sites around the city. (Private - 4 hours)

Enjoy dinner and cocktails at Fallen Angel, a

surrealistic and modern bar-lounge-restaurant,

where the tables are antique bathtubs with

real fish swimming inside them - and the sofas are

comfortable beds. This venue hosts the most

celebrated parties in Cusco and boasts Novo

Andean style cuisine.

Day 5 / Snowcapped Peaks and

Choquequirao Tour by Helicopter

From Cusco Airport, enjoy a 2-hour early morning

overflight. Relish the Inca citadel of Choquequirao,

meaning “Cradle of Gold” in Quechua, which is

nestled at the top of a steep mountain. It is the

second most important Inca complex, following

Machu Picchu. At the same time, appreciate the

natural beauty that Cusco offers, including

snowcapped mountains.

Have lunch at one of Cusco’s most stylish

restaurants, which offers Novo Andean Cuisine; a

wonderful blend of modern and Andean flavours.

Day 6 / Cusco World Heritage Site

Sacred Valley of the Incas

Arrive by private vehicle into the Urubamba Sacred

Valley. Check in at the Tambo Del Inka, a Luxury

Sacred Valley. Enjoy a gourmet lunch made of

This afternoon, visit the ancient village of

Ollantaytambo, with its Inca streets, squares

and houses built on top of Inca Ruins. The

Ollantaytambo Sanctuary is one of the most

important archaeological complexes in Peru,

Day 7 / Sacred Valley of the Incas ·

Chinchero Market · Maras ·


Visit Chinchero, known to the Incas as the

birthplace of the rainbow. It was originally a place

where the local and remote communities met and

bartered for their products. Visit the Centre for

Traditional Textiles in Chinchero, devoted to

renewing the rich past of extraordinary textile

designs and complex weaving techniques.

Lunch will take place in the most emblematic

traditional Hacienda in Cusco’s Sacred Valley,

Huayocari, owned by the Lámbarri Orihuela family.

This hacienda offers beautiful architecture and a

privileged view of the valley.

Witness cooking methods and stories behind the

traditional ingredients that have contributed to the

rise of Peruvian cuisine. Learn about the sustainable

agricultural practices that have transcended

generations, and the combination of flavourful,

natural, and healthy ingredients that are found in

the Andean highlands.

In the afternoon, visit the Moray Inca archaeological

site. Natural depressions in the ground were

used for constructing irrigated farming terraces

around them. This was an important centre of

domestication, acclimatization and hybridization

of wild vegetable species. Nearby is the enormous

Maras Salt Mine, surrounded by snow peaks.

Machu Picchu, a brunch will be served as you watch

Day 9 / Machu Picchu · Cusco

Morning at your leisure. This morning you can

choose to relax, or take a hike up to Inti Punku (the

Sun’s Gate), the entrance to Machu Picchu and the

end of the Inca trail trek, to watch the sunrise. This

site offers some of the best views of the Sanctuary.

You can also climb to Huayna Picchu, a small

mountain which is located inside the Sanctuary itself

(no tour guide).

In the afternoon, return to Cusco onboard the Hiram

Bingham, one of the most elegant trains in the

world. Cocktails and a gourmet dinner are served on

the return train to Cusco.

Day 10 / Spectacular Andean Train

journey from Cusco to Puno

The spectacular 10-hour rail journey on board the

Andean Explorer runs on the route between historic

Cusco and Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca.

The first half of the journey is dominated by

stunning views of the magnificent Andean

mountains, towering over the deep valleys.

The second half of the journey runs along gentler,

rolling Andean plains, where vicuña and alpaca

can be seen.

After tea time, join an excursion rowing through the

reeds on Lake Titicaca, the sacred birthplace of the

Day 11 / Puno · Uros & Taquile Island

Join the morning excursion to the floating reed

islands of the Uros. The Uros are descendants of

one of the most ancient cultural groups of the

continent. They live in an archipelago of more than

40 man-made reed islands floating on the lake.

Learn how locals live by catching fish like pejerreyes

and carachis, using boats also made of reeds that

are abundant in the National Reserve of Titicaca

Lake. These islands are made out of totora reeds,

with patience and constant refilling, until they form

a thick base called Khili, on top of which they build

their rustic huts, also made of the same material.

Return for lunch and siesta at the hotel.

After tea time, take an excursion to Taquile Island.

Taquile is considered to be the most interesting

island on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca. You

may get to know the way of life and experiences of

the island’s people. As it was formerly a part of

the Inca Empire, you may also see some

archaeological remains on the island, such as

stone quarters, doors, windows and pathways to

the peak of its mountain, where you can also view

the impressive panorama of Lake Titicaca and

the snow covered mountains of Cordillera Real.
